I have bought a wherecked vehicle. I went to the shop named "The ABC's of Auto Repair." The Manager/Owner Hector said that the total would be $1600 including parts and labor, its seemed weird to me because the parts its self would cost that much.

After that I asked him an exact estimate so the owner told me $2200 at most. I agreed to this and he demanded $1000 up front deposit in order to buy parts. I have gave him $500 cash deposit and he gave an invoice that had total amount of $2400.

After I have left his shop I saw on the invoice that many parts weren't included. I have called him in 30 minutes and asked him about those missing parts and he said that he is not buying those parts.

He took advantage of me because of my poor English, so I told him that I don't want to do business with him and not to send a tow truck to pick up the car. He said it is to late because he had already ordered some of the parts. When I asked him about the deposit because no work was done he said that he doesn't have the money and he wanted me to come back the next day.

I have tried to reach him for over two weeks and each time he would say that he is busy and would call me back, but he never did. I decided to go to his shop and meet with him. When I asked him "where is my money?" he got so mad that he jumped out of his chair and started threatening and insulting me, he said that he will kick me out of his shop if I won't leave. I didn't argue and I just left. He said: you will never get your money back.
