This company, as you can tell from other posts is totally a SCAM. They sucker companies into contracts, get paid by the companies they are hired by, then they hire us models and then never pay us.

I heard they are in trouble which is a good thing, but we have to get them before they dissappear. I have been told they are facing tons of legal issues which they ignore because they think they are above the law because they are protected by their corporate name, I have heard they are trying to get as many contracts as they can right now so they can pocket the money and run.

DON"T work for them, you will never get paid like me! You are guaranteed never to be paid if you work for them... They are screwing the companies that hire them too, because then we get mad at the companies that use the Agency.

The guy who owns the place, LUCAS BEDDOWS or BELLOWS we think he uses different aliases so he can slip around like the snake that he is is totally the mastermind. A reliable friend of a friend says that LUCAS BEDDOWS has other businesses too, we are working on getting that information, apparently he likes to use different aliases around San Diego, doesn't this sound shady??? I doubt legitimate organizations and owners of legitimate businesses have to hide behind aliases.

The companies that hire the Agency, need to know what is going on. I suggest calling everyone you know in the industry and making sure everyone knows about the Agency and all their alias names like Brand Staffing, Promo Models and Onpoint Marketing and LUCAS BEDDOWS.

Someone mentioned they didn't get 1099's for a job, maybe someone should talk with the IRS?? Has this company been paying taxes? Does anyone know how to pursue this avenue?

Model Here Who Has Been SCAMMED by PROMO MODELS - Truth be Told and Heard Loudly

AUTHOR: Victoria - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, February 12, 2009

I am a Professional Model out of Orlando, FL and was SCAMMED by PROMOMODELS.com.

I worked an event in October of 2008. I waited my 4 weeks... nothing. 8 weeks??? Nothing. I also made numerous phone calls, emails, faxs and more phone calls to no avail. No run around, just nothing... silence.

The Company owes me $1,400.00 for 4 days of work. I also filled out much paperwork as a model Manager for the Event. I then contacted the Company Manager with the Company that hired Promo Models and they had heard from another model in a different city across the US the same thing.

This was my first time working for the Company and obviously the Last!

Since then, 7 of my Girlfriend Models and one Male Model in the Orlando, FL area have all had the same thing happen to them. I am meeting many girls now all over the Country. We are getting a Claim together now.

This is unfair, unjust and Promo Models is a SCAM and you need to be Shut DOWN for GOOD!

You are hurting so many good people who need the checks they deserve. We have to survive and by not paying us you are hurting us for our futures and just being able to survive.

Don't ever use Promo Models.com Please Contact me if you are with us and need Help!

If you work for the company, then who are you?

AUTHOR: Brent_b - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 18, 2008

If you claim to be part of the company and claim to be backing up the company, then you should state who you are, your position, and how you can be contacted.

You are denying hundreds of complaints about missing payments. These are obviously all models who were not paid, and not competitors or anyone else.

If you know you did nothing wrong, then I can see you fighting back, but you obviously know you owe money to alot of people, so admit it and contact these models to resolve the situation.

Once Again, More Lies

AUTHOR: Pm - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 04, 2008

OK, so these constant attacks on the company are clearly the efforts of individuals or competitors with a personal vendetta trying to destroy a company's reputation. People post anonymously since they know iF they use their real name they can be sued for libel for posting false or damaging statements.

For the record, Promo Models is owned by a corporation, not an individual. It is a completely legitimate corporation that has now been damaged by the constant and malicious attacks against it, first started by competitors hiding as anonymous individuals online. While some people might be happy this is damaging the business, if the business closes, it will only hurt the individuals who have worked as models for the business and who are owed money that the business is trying to repay.

Also, once again, Hilary, Emily, Brittany, Nicole, Kelly, Lucas (who does not go by any aliases, which are more unfounded lies) are simply people who have worked with the company or partnered with it). So to attack them is once again a libelous action and something you can be sued for. So if you are going to post something, please consider that.

Instead, please be patient while the business tries to rebuild and get back on its feet so it can honor any outstanding obligations. Thank you.

Show Your Self

POSTED: Tuesday, November 04, 2008

By the way, you seem to want to make up lies and spread unfounded rumors trying to destroy a company's reputation. Why don't you use your real name so we can know who you are? Do you not want to get sued for libel? If you are owed any money, then let us know who you are so we can pay you. If not and you are just spreading rumors or lies, then put your name out there so we can sue you. You hide behind anonymous names and attack a legitimate company. Put your name out there so you can be held accountable.

One more time, inaccurate information

AUTHOR: Pm - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 04, 2008

So once again, someone is reporting inaccurate and libelous information. Promo Models is owned by a corporation, not an individual. Hilary, Emily. Nicole, Kelly, or Lucas are not the owners. The business is not a scam, but the constant attacks on it, most likely by competitors, are making it impossible for the company to conduct business and damaging its abilities to pay its contractors. So if you are a contractor of Promo Models, then please realize that every unfounded attack you make further damages the business. If you have a legitimate issue with teh company, then pease direct it to the company directly, rather than making anonymous attacks on the business.
