The Austin Hotel ripoff deception the business that doesn't give a d**n Hot Springs Arkansas

This is the absolute worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Their advertising is deceptive and misleading. They want consumers to believe they are a high-class hotel that caters to business groups and conventions. They are not capable of taking care of even one average consumer, certainly not large groups.

They offer valet parking, but be aware it may take an hour to get your car if you need it and also be prepared to wait just as long to check your car back in when you return to the hotel. The rooms are substandard, very old furnishings and a musty smell throughout.

The beds are so bad, we should have just slept on the floor. The showers had no water pressure. The wallpaper was peeling off of the walls. Trying to call the front desk for assistance was a nightmare. If you did get what you called for, it would take at least an hour or longer. For the prices they charge, you would think it was a much better hotel but don't be fooled by their rates or fluffed up brochures. They are far from high-class. They are more like a ghetto hotel.

Our complaints were answered by the convenient,"the manager is not in" response. No matter how much we said we were not satisfied, they were not cooperating. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! They will overcharge you for terrible service and bad rooms and then they don't give a d**n if you complain!
