My Husband and I were shopping in the Imperial Valley Mall in El Centro, CA. We were shopping for Christmas presents and were getting frustrated because we didn't know what exactly to buy everyone. This lady grabs my hand and asks me "Are those your real nails?" I said they were and she said she wanted to show me something. She proceeds to use this buffer on my nails and tells me it feels like glass. Yes, It did feel like glass. She does the same thing to my husband and my husband becomes amazed. She then tells us about the cuticle oil and lotion that you can get with it. She tells us the lotion is special because of the Dead Sea Minerals and they are the only place we can purchase this stuff from. She then proceeds to wash our hands with this salt scrub (which also has the dead sea minerals and salt.) After that she uses this peel of masque on my arm and shows me how it takes off all the dead skin (which has the dead sea minerals also.) She uses the masque on my husbands face also. The masque was listed for $85, the salt for $75 and the nail buffer with lotion for $65. She told us we could buy one thing and get 1 for free. We could buy 2 things and get 3 for free. My husband got suckered in because he has really dry skin and thought the masque was the best thing in the world. So we end up saying ok to the 5 for 2 deal. As she checks us out we ask her if we can find this stuff on the internet for a better deal. She says we can't get it anywhere else and she was able to give us the best deal. After I asked that she immediately told me she would give me 4 more things for $45. We of course said yes to it. We also purchase 2 mint pillows from her that were $10 a peice. I researched thiese products when I got home and realized we got ripped off big time and lied to. I emailed the company that sells the face masque and they sell if for $3.50 a pc. I found online that you can get the nail kit for $12 a pc. You can get the sea salt for $17 a pc and the mint bags were the only thing we got a good deal on. The mint bags online were $20 a pc. We got ripped off BIG TIME! We are furious and of course on the receipt it says no returns! Which they failed to tell us also. We are waiting on a call back from the mall because the store doesn't have an actually number.
