I have been contacted via certified mail by The Cadle Company. They are trying to collect at 14 y/o debt which was paid off when the house I owned went into foreclosure and was sold at auction.

Since, I have bought two homes, three cars and have great credit. Now they are threating to ruin my life!!!

Any one out there have a similar story?

Help!!!

The Cadle Company Bought paper from and RTC resolution of S&L, held it beyond the statute of limitations and then filed a suit against me resulting in a default judgment due to the fact that I was in Saudi Arabia at the time and was unaware of the hearing set and scheduled. I did not appear and thus incurred a default judgement. Subsequent efforts to refute the judgement and get it removed failed. Clifton Forge Virginia
