I stumbled upon a company that offers services similar to Renttherunway.com and it was also black owned. So I was very excited to rent a dress for NYE because I was tired of buying dresses and wearing them once.
I purchased the dress to rent which was about $95.00, not bad. I then recieved CONFIRMATION that the dress would be available for the dates in which I wanted to rent the dress.
THIS ALL HAPPENED TWO AND A HALF WEEKS BEFORE NYE.
Only for the confirmation to be cancelled days before NYE and me stuck with no dress for NYE!
I honestly would not recommend this site if your looking to rent a drees for your next event, you will be left without a dress! Stick with reputable companies such as RentTheRunway.com
They did refund my money, but thats it! Did not offer me another dress, discount or anything.
Just basically said, sorry you're short here's your money go about your day!
I hope they take some Customer Service training or something, or AT LEAST put themselves in the postion of the customer!
