When I first stepped foot into this office I knew something did not seem right.  Their company had no signs and their company sign was hand written and posted on the door.  I, like everybody else, am so upside down on my house.  I was looking for any kind of help until I heard of Consumer Advocacy Group.  I met with Kristy Sinsara (president of the company).  She was so optimistic and full of promises.  She guaranteed I would get a loan-mod.  She even claims she knows people that work at Bank of America that will help us.

After a few months went by, I noticed nobody has contacted me.  I didn't even know who was handling my case.  When I called Consumer Advocacy Group, I was informed that the original person assisting me with the loan mod had departed from the company and somebody else was handling my case.  Well thanks for the update.

I decided to do a little research about this company through the Better Business Bureau.  BBB has never heard of this company.  I noticed in the local newspaper stating that a new law has passed and if a company (i.e. Consumer Advocacy Group) plan on assisting with loan modifications, they need to apply for a license.

I questioned the agent supposedly handling my case and guess what; they just applied for a license.  What a coincidence.

A few more months go by and I asked about their business license and I am told they are now a 'non-profit organization'.  How ironic...a non-profit organization that is profiting from hundreds of people hundreds and thousands of dollars.

I find it very tough to swallow how a company that is supposes to help people during tough times, turn around and take advantage of them.  Now when I ask for a refund, they are telling me they have maintained so much progress.  Notice how the update is only given when I threaten to leave their services.  Despite whatever progress they claim, I have asked for a FULL refund for the past 3 months and keep getting the run around.

I feel whomever is on this website claiming Consumer Advocacy Group and Kristy Sinsara are good people and can very well help them, they are full of $@%&.  If you cannot fulfill the service, then you should fully reimburse the costumers.  We are paying for a service that cannot be fulfilled.

Truth or Lies

AUTHOR: Diesel - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 26, 2010

There must be some truth to all these complaints...  If there was no truth to these complaints then the rebuttal's would be greater, stronger and The Consumer Advocacy Group located in Henderson, Nevada would not receive so many negative comments and complaints.  I feel that the Consumer Advocacy Group bit off more than they can chew or you could say, they spread them self's to thin.

It's very interesting that there's no information on the web about The Consumer Advocacy Group or Kristy before January 01, 2009.  In addition, Kristy does not have her general Curriculum Vitae or Rusume posted anywhere (in her office or the website)....  Is there a reason why?  If the company or Kristy claims to be so great (and I don't mean the messiah; that's scary she/howie would even use the messiah in the same general category).  I'm sure no one thinks of them (Kristy or Consumer Advocacy Group) as the messiah. Consumer's should be able check out the business and the experience of the owner.

Also, it's interesting that all the rebuttal's from Kristy are very evil in general, and shame, shame torwards the home owner (that she was helping).  So, she blames the home owners (in the rebuttals) for the situation there in (funny).  That's not how she makes you feel during the consultation or when your cutting them a check (she tells you that it's the banks fault and how bad the banks are towards the consumer/Amercians). So, it would seem if she has all this experience, she would not have so many upset customers or she would be able to deal with them better...  So, who's the big bad wolf now; the banks or The Consumer Advocacy Group??

If you can't do a background check on a business or the owner; then don't give them your money.

Wow!  I applaud you for answering yourself and not have somebody else answer for you.  Oh yeah, I forgot, nobody does anything in that office anyways.  I post my report and within a couple hours you are able to respond with a rebuttal.  If only you put this much time and effort into helping people who asked of your service as you you are so concerned with your own reputation.

If your company is so helpful, why does the Better Business Bureau rate your company as a 'C-' and you have other people complaining of your lack of service on this site.  I understand this service takes time.  The only time I heard from your company is when I call for an update or when I asked to be released of my contract.  All of a sudden we are making progress.  What a coincidence.

It is funny how you say you never refuse an honest refund request.  You are so full of it.  I have been trying to get a refund for over three months.  I hear every excuse in the book.  It is also funny how you state that the world does not revolve around me.  That is true.  What I do expect is when I pay for a service, I expect results.  OK, so things may take a while.  Where is the comunication?  Give somebody an update before you request more funds.  Are you kidding me.  You haven't done anything et, then you have the audacity to request more money.

By me going on this website, it hopefully shows people what a fraud you and your company are.  You state your office tries to help HONEST homeowners.  That doesn't make you an HONEST PERSON.  You take advantage of people in a bad situation and that that makes you a dishonest person.

I see you got the official sign outside the building.  After, taking hundreds and in some peoples occassion, thousands of dollars, I would hope this 'non-profit organization' of yours can afford an official sign.

Response from Kristy

First of all...as EVERYONE that has ever been to my office knows, there is a HUGE sign on the outside of our building that says "THE CONSUMER ADVOCACY GROUP".  A BIG METAL PERMANENT SIGN.  And as you walk inside you can see that we have a temporary sign up that says TEMPROARY OFFICE LOCATION because my our permanent office (which is located RIGHT NEXT DOOR) has been in the process of being built up for us, since last June.  Out of my control.  Can't do anything about the fact that the workers next door aren't done with my perm office suite.

Second, I claim to "know people" that work at Bank of America?  This is what we do for a living.  Every day, all day long.  You honestly believe that after years and hundreds of clients we don't know anyone?  That's just dumb.  We stopped 197 trustee sales last year.  We modified 288 mortgage loans.  That didn't happen because we got lucky with 400 strangers.

Your statement to RIP OFF is full of lies...as are most people who use this site.  Unfortunately there's no way of them knowing how dishonest you are.  That is why you refuse to actually put your name in the report to let us know who you are.  If you were stating an honest fact about ANY experience you had with our company than you would have not been hiding behind a fake online name.

We are registered with the State of Nevada, City of Henderson, IRS, BBB, Chamber of Commerce...whom else would you like for me to register with?

I am not a Messiah.  I am a very optimistic business owner that has been dealing with the housing crisis and helping hundreds of homeowners for a long time now.  I have HUNDREDS of happy clients who had realistic expectations about our services or their lenders.  The process takes time.  It's frustrating for a lot of people, I GET that, but it takes time.  You have to be mentally prepared for a fight and headstrong about it.  Expect a denial, expect a bad offer...most people turn down their first off. Most people attempt to work with their banks befor we get involved and have already received a denial.  Expect a fight.  It's what I tell everyone...and know that we'll go down fighting for you.

YOU GAVE UP and blamed us?  WOW!

And regarding your refund, I have NEVER refused an honest refund request.  NEVER ONCE!  You have to be fair though and not assume that the world revolves around your every need.

Grow up.  Stop lying and take some responsibility for your own actions.  My office spends every day, all day long helping HONEST homeowners who want to receive realistic help from their lender.

Why do you think it's a company policy to meet with ALL clients myself before allowing them to sign up with us.  Because I'm trying to weed through the dishonest people that are taking advantage of our economic crisis and just want a free ride.

Obviously I unfortunately didn't do a very good job at picking you out of the crowd.

Stop hiding and lying and be an adult.  You want a refund, all you have to do is submit a request in writing to my office.  I will then review your file and respond.  Never turned one down thus far.

I'm sick of dealing with people complaining because their BANKS didn't get back to them in time.  WELCOME to world we live in.  Banks SUCK!  It's not my fault Obama gave them BILLIONS and refused to put any specific restrictons or mandates to help you.

I'm doing my part to lobby for homeowners.  I work FOR FREE to try and change foreclsoures laws, educate policy makers, work with others in our state that need us. I DON'T GET PAID FOR THAT!!!  I spend HOURS working for homeowners.

You want to complain about me?  Come up and talk to the LITANY of clients that we have helped save their homes. MANY people would be OUT of their homes if it were not for our efforts. Perhaps you should start having an open mind about how you could probably have been more of the solution and not so much the problem!

What are you doing about helping others in need?

Kristy
