Placed order online, and was immediately E-mailed a conformation E-mail to Confirm Order by phone.
I called and spoke to a person, who was deffinetely from N.Y. and confirmed.
2 minutes later I was called directly from the company to confirm again, and did.
Next morning I received the following:

Order #xxxxxx

Dear:XXXXXX XXXXX
We thank you for your order and appreciate you shopping with us .
Due to product allocation we have the item that you ordered on backorder. The specified time frame that was chosen to receive your package can not be filled .therefore your order has been canceled.
Now I know that companies do in fact run out of items, and that's OK.

Even though this was a Christmas Present for my wife, we are in our 50's and I don't think she would be upset if it was a week or 2 late.

So I E-mailed TheDidgitalExpo.com and told them so.
Later on in the day I checked my E-mail to see if I had received a response, in which I hadn't, so I called them back and got ahold of the same person that had taken my order the night before, and told him that A delay was OK.
That wouldn't work because they would not be able to have that item in stock for 3 months, so He told me to call back then.

My complaint is that this business had no intentions of filling my order at all, because they were $100.00 lower than any other merchant anywhere.

Hey I do a lot of shopping online, and if they don't have it in stock, it is stated as such.

The item I was trying to buy was a Sony Didgital camera Model:
Sony Cybershot DSC-N2, 10.1 Megapixel 3x Optical/2x
Digital Zoom, Digital Camera (DSCN2) $ 299.00.
Look this up on any other site and compair the prices, a big difference for sure.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

An online bargain is no bargain at all. When will people learn?

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

There is no way in hell that someone is going to sell you a $100 bill for just $69.

Yes, they may put a phony price up on their website. That's just to lure you in.

You have to agree to a price that is much more than it would be in a real store. If don't, you won't be getting any camera.

Like I said, you can forget about buying something for less than it costs to make it, or sell it.

If you continue to insist on some fantasy price from a cyber-dream outfit, you will eventually get ripped off and end up with nothing at all.

There are hundreds of reports here from others who tried to do exactly what you are doing. They all ended up losing in some way.

Grey market item. Customer return. Opened box. Missing accessories. Cosmetic damage. Wrong model. Last year's discontinued item. You name it

There is a lesson in all of their losses. Pay the normal price from a local retailer that you can trust.

Don't try to save $50 by going to the fantasy-price-dream-gold mine-dicount-o-rama website.
