THE GRANT PEOPLE ripped me off for 2500.00 and tried to get more!!!! Las Vegas Nevada

Well the grantpeople are a ripoff. I was contacted by e-mail and then pressured by phone once I replied. They are good at what they do and its easy to believe that they want to help you get grants to establish a bussiness of your own.

I was looking to purchase a bussiness and then I got a email regarding grants given to people wanting to open a bussiness. I thought great my dreams are all falling into place. Little did I know I would have to pay for it and like they say you gotta spend money to make money. They promised me that if I wrote the check now I would be first on the list to get the grant monies. That because I was a single american indian women I had the best chance to get money by the first of the year 07.

I never received anything from them as for what they were doing for me and called several times and got no return calls. Then I left a nasty message and how I was thinking this was not a professional company. They then called me to say they needed more money to make it a non profit org.and this way I would be sure to get more monies from different companies due to the fact they prefer non profit orgs. I acted like I was so upset and cried to this main man that i knew there was a catch and that this was all bull crap he acted like he felt bad and asked me to pls stop crying and that he would make sure I got my grant money. I kinda believed him again.

This was over 5 mos ago and still nothing. I called and left several messages again and they called me back just to ask me to get all kinds of info together to submit to different orgs. I stressed out because they gave me 3 days to complete a bunch of stuff which they were to put together for me. I then asked for an example and they said they faxed me 19 pages which i never recieved.

My friend was totally against me going for this deal but I was sold. I wanted so badly to start my own bussiness. I should have listened. Now Im out 2500.00 that I borrowed.

My friend looked up the on line scams just to find out The Grant People are listed and one of their ex employees is on there letting people know about these scam artists.

Now I need help to get my money back and dont know what to do. I am a basket case because of these jerks and cant believe that they can get away with this. How do people of this nature sleep at night??? I would like to meet up with them just to see what kind of slim they are but would probably want to hurt them litterally.

Talk about an expensive lesson never again will I believe anything I get in the mail, phone or email its so sad.
