This company adveertised on TV. A series for phone calls and faxes were made and I was told my $100,00 grant had been approved but they would need $5000 up front to process my grant. I said that I didn't have that kind of money so he offered me $1,500 with the rest to be paid after I received the grant which would be sometime in July. They say they are a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
I couldn't find them listed as members so I called the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. They said they had heard of them and had actually personally gone out to sign them up which they refused to do. I then called the BBB and they said they had 12 complaints on them.
After that, I called the consumer affairs dept of Nevada located in Carson City and they also had 12 complaints from them. Funny thing is that ALL three places I called mentioned that they have had numerous calls about this company.
A Peter Kowalski was my contact and out of curiousity after receiving another fax from Mr. Kowalski, I decided to call back and ask some further questions. The phone number 1-866-472-6885 doesn't ring anymore. I was fortunate. I DIDN'T overnight any money to this company. They used to be known by another name but I can't remember what it was. They say that they are a "sister" company to this other company but I found out that their business has only been in existence since Januart of 2006.
If you see their ads on TV or hear them on the radio, DON'T contact them because they are very convincing at not mentioning the money first and putting you at ease. It's later that they come in for the kill.
