After purchasing some automobile safety mirrors online, I was advised that I was the winner of free Plane tickets for 2 to most world wide destinations. There was a restriction of a maximum value for both tickets of $1,600. The only catch was supposed to be that one needed to book reservations at one of 300 selected Hotels offered by "The Guest List" and to send in a $20 postage/handling fee. A minimum stay was also required, but it was not to be longer than 5-7 days.
A Reservation Request Form & Flight Voucher was supposed to be sent within 6-8 weeks of receipt of the $20 fee. I have now waited 20 weeks and not received anything. I have communicated with the company behind this SCAM (Mass Marketing) on multiple occasions the last 2 months. In a rebuttal to the original complaint by someone else, an employee of the Guest List (aka Mass Marketing) claims that customers have not been waiting long enough and this is a legitimate offer. I feel that 20 weeks far exceeds the limitations advertised by this offer.
As mentioned earlier, I have had email communications with the company behind this SCAM. Individual's named Joey Marx and Allan Parker have both sent me responses to my inquiries. They have stated that they had investigated the problem and that my Package was on it's way. Each time I was advised to just give it a little more time and they repeated the old saying "It's in the mail". However, nothing ever comes. I can't even understand why they have been communicating back to me, unless it is to prolong any legal action. This is obviously a SCAM and I hope no one else is as Naive as I have been. For the record, I have requested my $20 be returned, but do not expect it to be.
