The Hoffman Legal Group and Douglas Hunter Incompetent, lazy attorneys who will NOT fight for you!!!! Beachwood Ohio

I was hit in an accident in 2010. After the police report was filed I was contacted by Douglas Hunter of the Hoffman Legal Group. I enlisted his services after being presented with what I believed was solid credentials and success rates in cases such as mine. 

I sustained considerable injury from this accident that I to this day have problems with. Douglas was and is the laziest attorney I've ever come into contact with. Not only does he barely so his job (adequate time and attention is not paid to your case because of the caseload he chooses to take on aka Greed), he does a sloppy job. 

After all was said and done he got me a measly 6k for an injury others have received upwards of 6 figures for. Why did I acquiesce you ask? Well for starters I had zero faith in him. He made it clear to me that he himself didn't trust his ability to win this case had it gone to trial. He encouraged me to just take what was offered me because had it gone to trial, if he loses I'll be responsible financially for all of the costs (legal on both sides, court fees etc.). He informed me that it's "difficult and sometimes impossible" to get the doctors to testify and cooperate. Their testimony would be critical and doctors hate having to testify in court. He informed me that jury's aren't "as sympathetic" as they used to be to injuries like this and the likelihood I would receive what I deserve is slim to none. 

So with those "odds" from the attorney who is supposed to be "fighting" for me I was daunted and chose not to further persue the matter. I was disappointed that I had selected a lazy attorney who was just trying to make a quick dollar off of my misfortune. 

Needless to say I can't sue for the same issue again but I do have other legal recourse I'm going to pursue just NOT with Hoffman Legal Group. I'm mortified for ANYONE who uses their services in the future. 

DO NOT USE THIS LAZY LAW FIRM!!!!!! For your own sanity's sake!!! Please!!! Had it been legal to change attorneys during the process without having to pay for their crappy services I would have. 

I'm a law student and I would NEVER handle business the way they conducted their business. Please DO NOT use their services unless you want to get nowhere AND OR live the rest of your life dealing with the same mess you started with.
