I purchased advertising at $399.oo in June 2012 from The Katy Shopper for advertising on a ReMax realtor advertising folder for Madeira, Ohio.  I was told the folders were printed and the were waiting for delivery and I would receive a copy for myself in less than a week.  I have not received a folder, Madeira ReMax realtor office stated they had no folders ordered through The Katy Shopper and there was no advertising done.  I can not get an answer at any of the business numbers or departments.  I can not get a return call from anyone after I have left numerous messages.  They took me for $399.00 and did nothing for my business and did no advertising for me.  I am unable to get my money refunded or anyone to return or even take a phone call.

I've been trying to contact them to get a refund - I used my debit card and because it's been over three months I can't dispute it, unfortunately.  I've done a little digging and found that the owner's of The Katy Shopper also own a few other companies - They also own BMK Innovations & Newport Skate Shop all located at the same address in Katy TX.  All the phone numbers are disconnected except the one for Newport Skate Shop - The number for that company is (281)825-3842.  Nothing will come of it I'm sure, but I just thought I'd share the info I have in the hopes that it might help someone else.

We all have to come together to try and trace this "company"/individual who stole our money. I sent in a separate report regarding our NJ Home Improvements Company. I contacted our local Remax they claimed to have the folders printed for and we were in fact scammed. We seemed to have all been hit around the same time. Another question...are we/or the Ripoff Report website able to trace the "Owner" who commented on our posts spouting more lies? This thief needs to be prosecuted!

TO THE OWNER: You are full of lies. Obviously your company is not doing something true because there are various reports of your terrible company. ALL with the SAME story to the tee.. the timing, the phones, the re-locating, the price... HMMM.. I just want you to know I reported you to the Katy Police and I reported and filed a claim against your company to the BBB. I have emails, paperwork, receipts... You are deceitful and obviously have no education on how to manage a company..

I will first state that our office has never created folders for an office in Maderia, OH. You either purchased with a different company or you have the wrong office. We DID create folders for an office in Milford, OH. Since you did not leave the name of your company, I am unable to verify that you are in fact a client of ours.  If you believe you did purchase an ad from us simply go the Re/Max office and ask for a copy. The folders were printed and delivered to their office quiet some time ago. There are occasions where vendors mix up the office in which the purchased, look for "Real Estate Office" on your receipt and the office name is listed. You can go by and ask for one. Each office is individually owned and operated, therefore having their own set of folders. I also do not know what phone number you are dialing as you state you can not reach anyone??

If you are truly OUR client, then you would hopefully go the the office in which you purchased an ad BEFORE accusing someone of taking your money. Our office retains tracking numbers on folders so that we can always verify shipping. Again, please verify whom you advertised with and that what you paid for is in circulation. Please feel free to call our office if you are still not satisfied or you still need a copy of the folder.
