This company enters into a signed legal agreement with you and takes your retainer fee.  Then charges you a monthly fee and assigns you a representative to assist you with a Loan Modification for your mortgage.

Their representatives are allowed to treat you like crap, hang up on you, and speak to you any way they can and when you treat them back the same way, they terminate your contract stating irreconcilable differences.

I summitted documents on a timely basis and my representative didn't even upload them.  Two weeks later I had to send them again to the resolutions representative and the excuse given was she is pregnant and hormonal.  Seriously?

They make excuses as to why their staff can be rude to you and then turn the tables and tell you that because in a heated argument on the telephone you said this or said that and that is the reason why they are terminating you.  

I live in Louisiana and they are in Florida....12 hours or more away and in an argument with the resolutions representative, I said my case representative should be slapped or I should just slap her for wasting my time and that is treated like I said I was going to kill her.  

I wouldn't give this schlampa the satisfaction of wasting my money driving 12 hours plus to look for her which I have no idea what she looks like to do something like that.

They want me to sign a general release form that will release them from all wrong doings and notarize it and then they will refund me my monthly fee.  I'm not wasting not one more penny to these people.

When I quoted the contract/agreement, I was told that yes they violated parts of it yet then the representative told me that if I took them to court, they are trained in this area and would handle the situation accordingly.  

That to me sounds like a threat.  So what if you are a attorney services, you employ rude and incompetent people.  Your customer service skills suck which you even agreed on and you make excuses for their wrong behavior.

The retainer will not be refunded because they state that all services on that part have been rendered yet when you ask for your documents back they say not going to happen.

Run, and run very fast and never look back on this company.  They lie, cheat, violate their own contract and keep your money.  They won't help you.  They make excuses for everything they do wrong and if you do something they don't like, they terminate you and keep your money only to make you have to go somewhere else for assistance in a loan modification.

I should drive to Florida and make good on my promise to slap that person, but I have more morals than that and at the end of the day, it isn't worth it because word of mouth is more benefiting with the experience I had to deal with from this company.

If you write to the Owner of the company, she just passes it to her assistant and you get her bottom feeder to contact you.  

Their business is based on customer satisfaction, so write on BBB website and complain and everywhere else for this company.  Freedom of speach is what will hurt them the most.

I am out a lot of money, but I will get assistance somehow.  Karma will come back around and she bites hard.

i am in total agreement my wife and i wasted $7000 on this so called law firm and got absolutly NOTHING from them but excuses and wasted time and money. i wish there was a way we could recoup our money but im affraid they got away with it and now we are out $7000. is there any way someone can help us ??

It is apparent that you are just not going to leave this alone.  I have no idea who you are and really don't care.  I am entitled to my opinion and whether it is six months, 30 days or a year, who cares.

I can say what I want and don't have to answer to you or anyone for that matter.  I have rights too.  Don't hide behind a "pregnant" woman.  She was rude to me but this company doesn't care about that; only what I did wrong.  I don't live near Florida, have no clue what the "pregnant" woman even looks like and for my anger, that is my business.  Not sure why you care so much about something that was posted BEFORE anything was signed.  I guess you call this damage control but people will come to their own conclusions about this firm.  

From all the constant postings from you, it is apparent that you won't let this matter alone and people will see how persistent you are with this when I asked you to leave me alone and let sleeping dogs lie.  Good job showing how screwed up this company is and the people they employ.

As for my attorney, he has been contacted.  I don't need a cracker box attorney or worker bee explaining anything to him.  I am sure he knows the law better than you.

As I stated before, FREEDOM OF SPEECH.  I guess the baby is yours since you are trying to drag this out.  Does Brenda McCann know you are creating pists to a CLOSED CASE??

If tell you to go to Hell is that considered a threat?  Obviously a nerve has been hit with you, so run to the police and tell them I told you to go to Hell and you consider that a threat.

Ms. Jones,

You became a client of our firm on 04/08/2013 and were refunded on 06/03/2013. That is sixty days not three months. 

Please get your facts straight.

Secondly, you threatened a pregnant employee of our firm with physical violence which we have on multiple telephone recordings. You told her and I quote "I'm going to come down there and beat your a*s then slap you until your baby comes out."

Today you stated that you can threaten anyone you like with physical violence. Sadly, you are again mistaken as this is not your constitutional right to do so and is not protected by free speech.

I have read the notes in your file and listened to the recorded calls with you. You may have anger management issues that counseling can help you with.

And lastly, please contact your attorney so he or she can explain to you the meaning of harassment. I will be happy to send them a transcript of the notes in your file and copy of your recorded phone calls.

I can see why now this company MAKES you sign a General Release in order to get a partial refund if you get one at all.

I have been dealing with Mr. Edd Lay and not sure what part he plays in this company, but he THINKS that I am not allowed to say how I feel to anyone.  Who is he kidding????  I guess he doesn't know the Rights of the Constitution.  I'll give you a hint.....FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

This man needs to leave me alone or I'll have MY ATTORNEY contact HIM for harassment.  I haven't bothered anyone in this company and yet I get a person who likes to jump in a situation that 

1.  Doesn't pertain to him and the case file is CLOSED.

2.  Doesn't know anything about my file or what transpired between myself and the company.

3.  Only read the notes based on what a representative who works for the company wrote.

4.  That this company makes excuses as to how their representatives treat clients that, by the way, pays for their      salary.


I could go on, but I'm done with this company and they need to leave me alone.  I posted BEFORE, I'll say that again in case you missed it; BEFORE I signed a General Release.  So that means that anything I said BEFORE, did you get that????   Signed BEFORE I signed any General Release, I can say what I want.


Go Swindle another client that needs help or doesn't.

Mr. Lay,


I am sure there is a good reason why Ms. Holly Carroll doesn't work there.  In fact, most of your employees tend to be rude to clients and Brenda McCann is okay with that.  I contacted Ms. McCann and she forwarded the information to Ms. Carroll.  Fawn Hooper was my contact and she is allowed to be rude because she is pregnant (or was), but that is no excuse.

I was told that in order to receive any part of a settlement, I had to sign a General consent, which I did so I could receive a partial refund, but feel that the $982.00 that your firm kept and sent me on my way was unjustified.  

My property is on Jockey Club Lane, Haymarket, VA.  I have had to go through another Attorney to seek assistance, however, the time wasted and the money spent with your firm was ridiculous to say the least.  I wasted over three months trying to get help from your firm only to be terminated as a client because I wouldn't let a pregnant representative speak to me in any way she felt like.  It is okay for your employees to treat clients with disrespect but if a client does that, they are terminated and all money kept.

I am not sure what you can do, but please provide me with a contact number for you and I will be happy to contact you.

First, Holly Carroll is no longer an employee of our law firm and hasn't been for several months.

Second, All that I had to go by when looking for you as a client was the first name (Linda) and the address (Derider LA) that you posted here.And you stated in your post that you live in Louisana.

If you live in Virgina why did you state in the post that you live in Louisana? There was nothing in your post to indicate otherwise.

Please call me Monday at our office so I can discuss a resolution with you. The switchboard can reach me anywhere in the building. I will be in the office from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Without you contacting me I have no way of identifying you as a former client and that the posts you have made her are valid.

If you had of done your homework, you would know that my home is NOT in Louisiana, but Virginia.  You obviously are clueless to who the clients are in terms to signed contracts.

I am not sure what part of this company you play, but I am sure if you speak with Ms. Holly Carroll you will see that I have/had a signed contract.
