The Medical Place Retired Doggy Vet appauled by treatment from Medical Place Montgomery Alabama

My experience with the Medical place in Montgomery, Alabama. It is my opinion, no one should be treated in this manner.

I was told by my employee I was treated like a person on Medicare. (In other words someone with less ability or resources to fight back) My insurance company insisted I do business with these folks or pay in the neighborhood of $2,000.00 to business somewhere else. We drove the two hour drive to the Medical Place and entered the establishment. I spent the next two hours being interrogated with questions like how many family members I had.

Some of the questions were humiliating. Some of the questions served to quench their morbid curiosity. I kept trying to show the insurance document; neatly signed and authorized for a chair. When the physical therapist finally read the document boy did their attitude change!! But, I had already experienced their attitude. Most of the interview was directed to dishonor the disabled worthless piece of trash (me). It was The Medical Place who was being evaluated by me. But The Medical Place never got that.

My insurance company insisted I do business with Medical Place if I wanted the lower price of $2000. I thought I could get along with anyone. All I could do is remember how I was treated like dirt the first time. It is my understanding it took about 5 months to get the chair and have someone show me how to use it. So I called the owner to resolve this matter but he never returned my call.

We also bought a lift for the chair; the lift quit... We drove the two hours one way for The Medical place to examine the faulty lift. I was told the part must be ordered and she would call me when it comes in. A month went by and no telephone call so I called The Medical Place, The girl promised she would return my call. This man from The Medical Place returned my call the next day. He wanted to order the part.

With every 2 hour trip I has recently left me very upset. In conclusion, I have been treated not as a quality customer but as a invalid with no brain at all. I represent the many people that have a disability that has kept their mouth shut. It is time that we speak up with this type of appauling treatment. We are human too.

If this is how a customer should be treated I don't need to be their customer.
