If you are planning a move, do not use The Movers in New Orleans. Billy Knowles is a salesman, promises insurance and direct service. Our belonging left my old house in two trucks and arrived at my new house in one. Nothing was packed properly and many of my belongings were broken or stolen (they did not arrive). As for "the insurance company", they lied for weeks and then we found out that they are "self insured." My Move Page is full of pictures for you. We are extremely unhappy with the way they handled our belongings. How would you like your belongings treated like this? (see my move page) We feel as though our whole home has been vandalized. The claim that I filed does not actually touch the damage and there is no way to make compensation for the emotional trauma you have caused to my wife and children.

They have lied about everything. Bill Davis, the purported owner, and Billy Knowles will not return phone calls. "Anita" the claims person will not help you. They are not professionals. They hire drunks, thugs, and convicts who will steal and break your stuff. They have no insurance.

Give it all away before you call them. At least you will know where it went. They have no intention of providing any service to you whatsoever. They will cash your check and that will be the last they will have to do with you.
