I recieved an unexpected letter today from this company and it disturbs me where the dickens they got my info from. It has arrived at a time in my life (trying to decide whether to retire in 07 or not) and feeling a touch vulnerable and uncertain.
Thankfully, I have come across the information about this company on this website, and have now removed the letter from my coat that I was going to put in the post on the way to work. I might have dropped a big brick had I NOT done so. I have always had an interest in the things they mentioned in the letter, and the way it is written could seriously draw vulnerable people into the trap they are no doubt setting.
Not everyone has access or understanding of the Internet and would have no idea who to ask to check up on this scam. I hope that someone soon has the power to put a stop to this.
The longer I live, the more concerned I become about the rotten, awful things that human beings are capable of, and all for the love of money. How the heck do other animals survive without MONEY????? But, they do! Think I'll come back as a cat!

Why are you working now? Money, challenge, socializing...?
Do you still enjoy your work, or would you like to do something else?
Can you afford to retire w/r/t your needs?
What might you do after you retire?
Do you get retiree benefits? Do you need them?
Do you have something like the social security we have here? ...The older you retire the more you collect but for a shorter time (for an obvious reason). Here, it takes ~3 years of collecting benefits to compensate for every year past 62 that you delay collecting social security.
So make two lists, one pro and one con. Maybe give each entry 1 to 5 points for what it is worth to you. Then add up the scores.
Once you have it organized and written down you should know. And then you will not feel so vulnerable.

They simply buy mailing lists of people who have responded to other junk mail. Your name and address are on a mailing list.
That is how they got your "information". Do they have anything other than your name and address?
