Well as with Herpes, Herbal Life just changes it name and location. Still out there, charging $48 for "decision package, to weed out "water testers",, No product ID, until I called my "coach" on the fact that they were either Herbal Life or Amway. She didnt deny the facts, just started with the company line of all the millions I could make. No phone numbers were given up front as the video stated, for contact with my "coach". Oh well out 48 bucks.... Gee I guess I'll go back to Kirby.

Herbal Life Meeting

AUTHOR: Tony - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, November 30, 2007

I remember when I got dragged into a herbal life meeting. The one lady running it walked up to me and said, "How did you hear about Herbal Life?" I responded, "On 20/20." She said oh, and started talking to someone else in the room. After the meeting I could tell it was all hype and thank god I never joined up with Herbal Life, what a wast of time, energy and money. If I need vitamins I just go get them at the local vitamin or health store. MLM's are good at over charging or marking up to pay all the residuals out. They also like to charge the reps for videos and promotional materials, but don't like to pay out on them.

Not all MLM's are bad, but be careful, "Buyer Beware." Pyramids are self defeating.

Most Home Based Businesses Don't Require that You Pay to Know their Name

AUTHOR: Tracy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, January 04, 2007

It has been my experience that any home based business that is on the Up and Up would not require that you pay them a "testing the waters" fee to find out their name. Nor to "weed" out those testing the waters, just to see "who they feel is worthy to work with".

I have had many friends approach me with AmWay (before they "hid" their name), MarketAmerica, PartyLite, Avon, Remington Jewelry, and so on and NEVER have I had to pay a "fee" to get information. In fact, I have been given all information needed to get going in many of the above mentioned businesses with out cost or obligation.

Seems to me that if a company needs to make money off their "information", their product must be hard to sell or over priced. Thanks Rip-Off report, I found a site for this Home Based Business, and checked here first to see if there were reports on it. I went to Online Business Systems and found from other reports that it is Herbal Life and a rip off not just to the original poster of this thread but to several others as well. I always have and always will stear clear of businesses hiding behind other names.

It really does take a special person

AUTHOR: Raymond J - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 31, 2005

Herpes? Is that what you think? That's a bit harsh and unfair to say the least. Because you're not happy, is it the company's fault? What is it you want? That proverbial bag of money certainly won't fall from the sky anytime soon. I wanted to comment on the decision package and the weeding out of water testers. I'm associated with The Online System and Herbalife and I have to tell you the information package you receive does it's job. I don't know if a company can be named where you are "interviewed" before you're allowed to work for or with the company. That's how business is done. Because this is a network marketing company that offers personal training, only people we feel we can work with and who are willing to go for what they want are allowed in. Everyone else, i.e. the water testers are screened out. To the person who submitted the report, because you're not involved with the company and was not satisfied with what you received or the process by which you received it, you were weeded out (you acutally did it for us). You aren't the kind of person we're looking for to be a part of our team. There are so many people in Herbalife making all sorts of money. My only question is why would you think it's a fraud/scam/etc? It may be better if you did indeed stick with Kirby.
