While perusing facebook, I came across a monthly subscription box, The Pony Box, for horse enthusiasts. While the company was relatively new, it did have a strong following and was highly recommended.

On November 6, 2014, I placed an order via their website (www.theponybox.us) for their mid-level box "The Pony Box". The cost of the box, plus shipping, came to $56.50. I fully understood, as explained on their website, that the box wouldn't ship until December 15, 2014 as you paid one month in advance.

On December 19, 2014, I recieved an email stating that the December shipment would be delayed since one of the items that was supposed to be included in the December box had yet to arrive from their supplier. However, this notification was FOUR days past the their shipping date of December 15th.

On December 23, 2014, I received an email stating that my package had shipped and would arrive in time for Christmas. It was shipped via USPS with a tracking number. While tracking the shipment, all scans for my package came to a halt once it arrived at the Greensboro, NC sorting facility on December 25, 2014. I contacted my local postmaster to see if they could help, and they could not be of assistance because they had no way of physically looking for the package. Upon checking the tracking number again, it stated that the package had been returned to sender in Lubbock, TX on December 30, 2014 at 11:48am.

Multiple emails to the company have gone unanswered, and messaging has been disabled on their facebook page. I've repeatedly asked for a refund for the January "Ultimate" Box that I had also paid for on December 5, 2014 for a total of $85.20, and finally received a reply on December 29, 2014 stating "We will put you on the list".

After reading hundreds of posts on their Facebook page, it's clearly evident that I'm not alone in this. Hundreds of people have complained that they've paid for the boxEd and either have to receive the actual boxes, a refund, or even a response to their constant emails.
