The pool people residential has un-ethically taken over 1 year to build my pool. Also now after they have been paid in full, they have abandoned the job site and not return to finish all work in the project. Also now as a result of them not completing the project, the pool has a leak and thousands of dollars in cost to obtain final permit from the county.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
Rebuttal by TPP Residential to Riegler Comments
AUTHOR: The Pool People Residential Inc. - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, August 14, 2010
Mr. Riegler's pool was completed, plastered and filled with water on March 15, 2010 and he has been able to enjoy and use the pool since that time. Construction of the pool commenced in August 2009 and completion was delayed for a variety of reasons, some of which relate to Mr. Riegler's lack of performance of his obligations under our construction agreement.
The pool construction has passed all of its required final inspections. We are unable to close the permit because Mr. Riegler's yard fence gate is not self closing and the County building department will not close the permit until this item is corrected. This was Mr. Riegler's responsibility and was not included in our scope of work. I dispute Mr. Riegler's allegations that he has had to expend any money (thousands of dollars in cost?) to secure any of our inspections.
We have tested the pool on two different occasions and have found no evidence of water loss despite Mr. Riegler's assertions that the pool is leaking. We have scheduled a third leak evaluation in an effort to put this issue to rest once and for all.
We will continue to honor all of our warranty and contractual obligations related to this contract and will address any legitimate service issues that are reported to us.
