I would like to share my experience when I placed my FIRST order with The Pyramid Collection.

I placed an order with Pryamid Collection and had to return some of the items due to sizing issues.  Most of the things I returned were even exchanges, some were just returned because I didn't like the item, and I did order one new item.

Pyramid provides a paper for exchanges/returns/new items.  On that paper there is a box that says, "Method of Payment (For new items or uneven exchanges)"  I also provided them with my own paperwork detailing the exchanges/returns/new items and prices of each item.  I showed all the calculations, and after everything was accounted for and exchanged, I owed Pyramid $30.04 + 17.99/shipping= $47.99.  The "Method of Payment" says you must provide either a check/money order or a credit card for new items or uneven exchanges.  I gave them my Debit Card number, which is linked to my checking account to pay the $47.99.  What Pyramid did was credit the entire return,  $529.60, to the credit card that I used to purchase the items, and then re- charged the entire order, $559.64, to my Debit Card.  When I  contacted Pyramid about this, I was told this was the law when it comes to returns.  If this is the law, why don't they have this written somewhere so that people returning items know Pyramid's procedure.  What does (For new items or uneven exchanges) mean?  Obviously, giving them a card number is not for new items or uneven exchanges, since they don't charge just the new items or uneven exchanges, that sentence should be taken out of the form, it's very very misleading.  Those words would never make me think the entire amount would be credited and then re-charge to the new card.  I was told that because I gave them the new card number I was authorizing them to do the transaction this way.  No, I was not authorizing them to take $559.64 from the account, I was authorizing them to take $47.99 from the account, as I showed them on the detailed paperwork I  sent back with the returns.
What Pyramid did, has caused my checking account to be overdrawn.  Bills that I had scheduled to pay cannot be paid, and I'm accruing late fees.  Checks that have bounced are costing me $35 per check.  I have called Pyramid numerous times and have spoken to some of the rudest, most condescending  people I've ever encountered.   I cannot believe this company allows their customer service to interact with paying customers in such a horrible manner.  No one can seem to help me. How hard can it be to credit my checking account and put the purchases back on the credit card I had originally provided???  Why is this such a difficult fete to accomplish.

I spoke to someone,  I won't give names, she told me if I could provide proof that this transaction caused my account to be overdrawn, she would be able to put the money back into my checking account and then credit my charge card, I faxed my bank statment to her that same day, that was over a week ago, I'm still waiting.   I called yesterday, and was given another story.  Bottom line, this is a company that doesn't care if the customer is happy or not.  They have offered me NOTHING for all the hardship I've been put through.  As a matter of fact, they made me feel like this whole ordeal was my fault.  What happened to good customer service and wanting to keeping the customer happy, they certainly don't seem to care if I'm a repeat customer or not.   Very very sad.  So here I sit, in limbo, and based upon what has happened so far, I would venture to guess they aren't going to do anything.

So, for anyone ordering from them and possibly having to return items, please make sure you don't follow the instructions on their forms, or you'll be in a mess like I am.
