Back in June 08, purchased 4 rooms of furniture, 2 bedrooms, LR and DR. Immediately upon delivery noticed that a piece of metal or the frame of the couch was poking thru one of the ends of the couch. Called RoomStore "customer service" and they arranged for a furniture tech to come out. Tech came, took pics and I've been waiting ever since to have couch repaired.

In the meantime, I noticed a hole in the couch, where the back couch cushions connect to the back of the couch, tech came out again, still waiting..from June till September. Excuse after excuse..RoomStore tells tech they've mailed me the materials needed but thats not true. The next time RoomStore tells the tech the materials were sent to the store..and so the excuses bounce from one to the other. LR Chair was on back order, arrived later than expected and had a broken leg. Tech came out to check chair, was able to fix but then realized that the center couch cushion's "coil" was messed up, ordered replacement cushion, still dont have.

My queen size mattress purchased from RoomStore was defective, tech came out and agreed. A "reselection" was set up by RoomStore. When I went to the store I was lead to one mattress set and was "told" by the saleswoman that was the set my original one would be replaced with. I was not told that I had the option of picking my own set or upgrading if I wanted to. RoomStore actually wanted to charge me for a 2nd delivery for the replacement mattress..until i started yelling.

Customer Service promises to call and get this taken care of and nothing happens. Went to the store yesterday and complained that the manager wasnt doing his job, he had the audacity to laugh at me, so i called him a jerk..he threatened me with the police but stopped when he got to the phone, nothing he can do for me voicing my opinion. He said i had "no right to be in the store"...No right? I purchased $7k worth of junk from his store, I guess since he made the sale and the ppl there got their commission, what do they care about me and my problems?

Im posting this wherever i can on the web, am working with the local news channel trouble shooter and am filing a complaint with the NC Attorney Generals Office and will be contacting the Better Business Bureau..I may even post signs on the poles in the area around the store to show my dismay.
