The Rush The Rush personal trainers are Douchbags! Knoxville, Tennessee

Personal trainers at The Rush are Douchbags and most don't even workout. You would think that by being a leader in the health club industry they would have trainers that are fit and know how to train people. They walk around with arrogance and think they know what they're doing but by observing them and seeing that they really don't know how to train people that really need it and pay a lot of money for their services. So with that being said think twice about who you want as a personal trainer when you hire one to TRY and achieve your fitness goals.

i have had dealings with "trainer" at the rush and all they are trained to do is sell memberships. they make minimum wage plus commish so you can imagine thats its more of a priority to sell memberships than to train. one of them i know had graduated college and had 50k in student loans. how dumb can one be? go to college and incur 50k in debt to work at The Rush.....

First of all the trainers are on all commission so they have to put on a front in order to sell. A friend of mine bought one of their packages to have some kind of direction on working out. The trainer gave her a very basic and non effective workout routine. She followed the trainers plan for 6 weeks and got no results. I have been working out for years and know what works and what doesn't. If she would have let me I would have trained her but she assumed that the trainer at the rush new what he was doing and didn't want to listen to me, kind of like a wife doesn't listen to her husband. I agree that by observing other trainers showing their clients how to workout they really don't know what they are doing. Not sure why they think they are all that becauthey aren't. They must think they have some sort of power there because they are trainers? Well hate to tell them but they are like car salesman, even look like them. At least they could be friendly when they walk by but when people are in better shape and don't look like wannabe's I could understand why they hate!
