I received an e-mail solicitation. It sounded like something I might like to try so I requested their "FREE" CD (which actually cost me almost $4).

I receved the CD by mail. Did not play it for over two months. Finally I played it and it is a bunch of baloney.

Two days ago I received a "fraud" call from my credit card company asking if I had every heard of Seller's Lounge. I said yes, that I had ordered a "free" CD from them and it had cost me almost $4. The credit card company informed me that I am being charged $49.95 per month. They started charging me that amount almost on the same day as the "free" CD was charged.

I cannot get into their website login. I put my info in and they say "your username is not recognized". I have no phone number, fax, or e-mail address for them.

To anyone that reads this report...PLEASE...do not respond to this advertisement...IT IS A SCAM to take your money...

The Seller's Lounge is not a scam

AUTHOR: Kenneth - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 10, 2008

The Seller's Lounge would like to respond to your complaint and clarify the truth about our program. It is not a scam. We provide some of the best training and information available to anyone interested in making money on eBay.

When anyone visits our web page and decides to order the free CD, it reads very clearly on the order page that the CD is free, and $3.87 will be charged for shipping & handling only. Two paragraphs located just beneath the order form also let all visitors know that they will have immediate access to the Seller's Lounge member website, and a 10-day free trial period to use the website and review the valuable tutorials and information available there.

The web page informs each visitor that continued membership to the Seller's Lounge website will be billed at $49.95 per month, and to cancel before the 10-day trial period has expired if not interested in remaining a member. The order confirmation page then provides each person ordering with a unique username and password to log into the Seller's Lounge member site, and also lists an email address and phone number to contact our customer support for any questions, or to cancel. This information is also emailed immediately to each individual who orders. If your username and password are not working to log you into the website, our customer support can resolve that problem.

However, our refund policy is 100%, regardless. We realize that some people miss information at times, or just aren't satisfied and happy with their membership to the Seller's Lounge. If that's the case, we want to get you taken care of you. If you contact us at 775-884-1212, or email us at support@thesellerslounge.net, we will cancel your membership and refund your monthly membership fees. That's the way we do business.

Sincerely,
The Seller's Lounge

****UPDATE*****The Sellers Lounge

AUTHOR: Patty - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 03, 2008

Well, as I told y'all last week when I filed my first update, I had finally gotten the correct phone number for the Seller's Lounge. I called and they told me they would issue a credit to my credit card account for the two charges of $49.95 each from Sellers Lounge since I obviously had not ordered anything but a "free" CD from them.

I checked my credit card account today and to my surprise the Sellers Lounge HAD issued the credit they had promised me. It took about 5 days for them to do so...however, I am thrilled that I actually got results..

Again, their telephone number is 1-801-855-5219. Call that number..see if it still works. (someone had told me since yesterday, 6/2/08 that it had been disconnected). Good Luck...

UPDATE *** UPDATE***The Seller's Lounge **

AUTHOR: Patty - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 29, 2008

I called the "801" number for Sellers Lounge. When the person answered I informed them that I wanted to cancel an account. She asked my first and last name, my zip code and proceeded to tell me that she will cancel my account (which I never had) and refund me the $49.95 that was charged on May 22, 2008. I asked about the other two charges of $49.95 each. She said there was a $3.97 charge and one other $49.95 charge. I asked that she have the other $49.95 removed and she said O.K. Now I will check with my credit card company to see if this is being done. I will let you all know as soon as I hear something.
