The Social Security Administration And The United States Government Making me pay back my own backpay, and not letting me claim my child! Portsmouth, Ohio

First of all, I was denied disability in the first place, and I had to wait several years, and fight it with an attorney. When I was approved through a judge, I got letters stating that I was approved for SSI, and SOCIAL SECURITY. The letters also stated, that I was due back pay from both. In that time, I needed a home for me and my son, since I am a single mother, who gets no child support fromt he dead beat father. So they allowed me my SSI backpay, to put so much down on my mobile home. They also told me to come in with my son's information, to put him on my case, and they still to this day, will not tell me why I cannot recieve any extra a month for my son, even though I know I am suppose to be allowed to. So that is one issue that I have with them.

Then, after calling them for over a year, I finally got my backpay owed to me, through Social Security. I spoke directly to Mrs. Clarkson at my local Social Security office. She went over the numbers with me, could not give me a reason why I had to wait for it all this time, and got it through the payment center to pay me my backpay. They refuse to pay me all at once, but everytime the put it on my card, they sent me a letter in the mail, stating that they put so much of my backpay on my card. Now, 3 months after getting it, they are saying that they over paid me, and they want the money back! In an amount that is more then what they paid me, and will not give me a reason why, me, out of all these people in the world on disability, am not enttitled to back pay! They said that starting this January, they will be taking all my monthly income, untill the full amount of over $13,000 is paid off! Which will leave me and my son of now way to live, and homeless! I contacted the attorney I went through to get my disability, and she said that her job was to only get me approved, and she does not go any further than that. I contacted my local legal aide office, and they said to put in for a waiver, which I did, but they could not help me. I have called Mrs. Clarkson several times, talked to her once, and she gave me no answers, and will not return my calls!

So please, if anyone out there can help me, I would greatly appreciate it! All my backpay that I did recieve, went towards my mobile home payment, past due bills, and my son and our necessaties. I cannot afford an attorney out of pocket. I really need to know why I cannot claim my son, and why I am not due any backpay! Please help!!!
