I have been contacting the testing authority since September and it is not December. I first noticed something was wrong with the company when I went to thier website and it was not the Uspostal website. I assumed the company was affiliated with the POst office.
I then went to see if there were any test close to my home and there weren't any test in the state of new york!!! This seemed very wrong so I called them to refund my money.

Originally they told me no because they said I needed to wait 12 months and then call back if there were no tests offered within 100 miles. This made me really upset. I got a hold of someone who left a message on my phone that stated I would get the refund within three to five days. This never happened.

I then contacted my bank and they looked into it. The bank denied my claim because the testing authority said that when they left a message on my phone they said they would only refund me the money if I returned the book. That was false.

I then took it upon myself to call the testing authority again to get a refund. This time I spoke to John Jones who told me I would get a complete refund within 3-5 days. I thought I was done at this point. Well, a week past and still no refund.

I then spoke with Benita Williams and she said that I was misinformed and I was not getting my refund at all. I was denied by the refund department. I then asked for her supervisiors name and she refused to give me any names. She kept saying my name is Benita Williams and I am the supervisior. I said I want to speak to your boss and she said I am the only one you are going to speak to.

I still haven't recieved my refund but I am not going to give up.

Hmm.. the refund policy... if you fail the exam, or if you are not offered a job on the first interview, or once you complete your first full week as a new postal employee.. oh wait, there's one more.. if there are no job openings within 100 miles within 12 months requiring exam 460, 473, or 473-C.. sounds like a good deal.

now how do you take the exam?

how about going to usps.com/employment... how about clicking the link in the box on the right hand side that says create your ecareer profile.. how about then going up to job opportunities, which will be at the top of the ecareer profile you fill out.. how about going to where it says location and selecting the state you live in, and then clicking start.. that generates a list of positions that are available in the state that you live in.. how about finding one you are interested in and clicking apply.. how about then going back through your ecareer profile and making sure all the information is correct.. how about then clicking send application.. how about I bet after a short period of time you will get an EMAIL from the POST OFFICE with steps to move forward to obtain the position that you applied for...

Instead of asking the question HOW DO I MOVE FORWARD?, you just demand your money back when you KNOW the refund policy and AGREED to it.

I wish you the best of luck!
