The Watches Place claims to be an authorized dealer of Larsson & Jennings and Daniel Wellington designer watches.
I placed my order in March and received an online confirmation. A week goes by and I realize I have not received a delivery confirmation so I email the company. A company rep named John claimed responded and claimed that there was a delay. That was the first and last response I received from the company, even though I emailed them several times.
I reviewed my credit card statement to see if I was charged for the watch and it turns out I was charged by a chinese company I never heard of, although this company is supposed to be a U.S. retailer with locations in New York City.
After I contact my credit card company to report the fraud, I contact Larsson & Jennings and Daniel Wellington to see if The Watches Place is an authorized retailer. As it turns out, they are not. No answer from the company after numerous inquires and my credit card company refunded me my money.
