I called the shop and spoke with Tanisha I asked if they could perform service without making it tight and also give me the style I wanted.  I actually purchased 100.00 in hair from another place.  It took 4 hours and my hair had to be cut out at the Emergency Room.  My brains felt like they were coming out.  The owner tried to call the police on me about paying high price for this botched horrible nightmare. Im still trying to resolve the 50 weave that turned into 200.00. and had to be cut out.

Blisters and Sores!!

AUTHOR: Ly - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 12, 2013

I have written reports from Dr. Owens who had to cut the too tight weave from my hair.  I have blisters and metal plate in my head.  I have Blisters 2 weeks later.  I looked like a fool with no hair do whatso ever.  If my hair looked fine and everything was perfect then why bother filing a report.  I was treated unfairly and tried contacting owner who after 7 days did state she would accept the payment for hair weave.  I spent  100 on the hair and the so called stylist butchered it and it was two packs she kept the other pack and did not return it.  This place was not professional to have an untrained person evaluating hair.  I have gone to a Professional Dermatologist who refutes the comments made.  So if in court everything stated is truth and can be validated by ER Dr and Dermatologist and Hair Specialist.  This person is no Dr and I did not like my hair so tight on my head that it made blisters.  She sewed to cap and my skull.  She was a liar and stated this was ok was thining and bald hair.  Do not believe these people. Once they mess up your hair they do nothing to fix it.  They are money hungry and only out for your money.  They advertise a 50 weave that ends up costing 200 dollars and more if you don't come with your hair washed.  Which my hair was dirty and I believe that is unsanitary to work on dirty hair that is against state regulations.  So the state should go in and do investigations to nasty and unsanitary conditions.  The hair specialists I went to state that hair net does nothing but make your hair much worse and thins your hair.  If you dont want to go bald then stay away from hair weave shops that sew hair too tight and tell untruths.  I paid for my services and now working through the rest. My ER bill alone is over 300 hundred dollars.   I have to now pay 3000 for treatments to get my hair to grow back after the blisters . So this is a lesson well learned.

In regards to this client's, this is not what really happened. The owner Latonya Saunderson was not present nor did she call the police.

The client has alopecia, she came in with a picture of a style that she wanted. In her initial consultation she was advised that she would not be able to get this style because of her alopecia and we advised her to get our Platinum weave which comes with a net because of her condition.

The stylist did a great job on the client's head and it looked amazing. After receiving service, client said she was displeased because her hair was nothing like the picture she brought in and she was not paying anything until she get it done like the picture. We apologized and it was explained to her again, that she could not get the look in the picture because she had to get a closure because of her condition.

She refused to let the lead stylist evaluate to see if there was anything else we could do other than the style in the picture. She declined and still refused to pay for her service she received. She was told that if she refused to pay for services, that this will be considered theft of service and the police would be called, and she said ok.

The manager called the police and after waiting for 1 min the client grabbed her purse and coat and ran out the door. The police arrived and was given her name, tag and phone number. It was only after the police was contacted  that the client claimed that she left urgently to go to the ER because her sew-in was too tight.

She never mentioned at anytime during her visit while in the salon that her hair was too tight and it was causing her to become ill. Her only complaint was that it was not anything like the picture, repeatedly.

We regret that it had to get to this point. But, in truth the client received a service and there was nothing wrong with her hair she looked great. We strive to make sure that all our customers receive great customer service and are pleased with the services received. We are truly sorry that this client was not satisfied with services received and that we were unable to please her.
