 On 01-09-2017, approx 1:00on The Wire Nut was dipatched from JD Vigil Heating & A.C. Inc. Upon calling JD Vigil. I explained to the receptionist of the situation, and asked to order a part for my HEIL furnace. She indicated to me that she could not sell me the flue exhaust fan without having a technician sent out to be certain of the issue. So, on my part, I hesitantly agreed to have a Tech sent out. My 1st mistake. The technician shows up and I explain to him that all I need is the flue exhaust fan, that I had previously removed and inspected the fan as non functioning. He puts on his shoe covers and proceed to the furnace. He looks at the furnace and tells me that because it is a HEIL Furnace, it is not a reliable unit. Then he looks at the fan, then tries to turn the fan wheel on the exerior, and of course it does not move. (approx 5 mins from door opening to him leaving with his diagnosis)

I then ask what the cost will be for the fan, A fan and labor...$800+ tax, minus the services fee of $60 if I agree to have them install. He then proceeds to tell me since he came into the home ( 5 mins) he must charge me $60 services fee. This I was not too happy about, since I told the technician what the problem was ,and what part I needed to fix it. He didn't do a d**n thing,except take my money. I would never recommend JD VIGIL or THE WIRE NUT. I Will request a refund for the services fee. Never have I felt so raped by a business. I can just imagine if I were elderly and didn't know how to repair, on what the total charges could be.
