I paid for the package with my credit card and added an extra $10 for rush delivery. Going on three weeks later, I still had not received my package. However, I did receive a letter from Tiran Zaken encouraging me to purchase his invaluable resource listings and promising to increase my share of any sales to 70%.

I kept calling the California office, when I finally got through, the person on the phone said that the package had just gone out(three weeks later!). The information in the package indicated that Nick Lasorsa should be contacted in the New York office to get started. I have tried to contact him daily. He returns my calls every 2-3 days at a time when I cannot be reached. I have indicated in my messages that I cannot be reached at certain times, yet he calls at those times.

Many times when I call, I am unable to even leave a message since, according to the message, there is not room in the mailbox. I have since been trying to get through to the California office but there is no answer or answering machine.

MORE IMPORTANT TO POST ON RIP-OFF REPORT THAN WITH THE BBB OR ATTORNEY GENERAL

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Sunday, September 22, 2002

Listing your complaint on many Government links are no better than the BBB and are most likely just a waste of time, giving you false hope. Many government sites (like the BBB) just collect all information from you, the consumer, but never make that information available for all to see, so consumers will NOT be educated as to what exactly they should be looking out for. By these agencies not letting you see these complaints, making them public, you never know how bad the company or individual rip-off really is.

On the other hand, many government agencies have and do come to the Rip-off Report for information. We have been assisting many government agencies for some time now, including the FBI and Attorney General offices from around the country..

Now that all these Rip-off Reports are out in the open for everyone to see, in a way, this embarrasses these agencies into doing something when they see so many reports on a Company or Individual, because they are now out in the open for all to see.

Unfortunately, many (not all) Attorney General Office's and government agencies will not move against a rip-off unless there is going to be some sort of publicity on the rip-off. By reporting your experience on the Rip-off Report, is the next best thing to getting your story on TV or in a newspaper. Most national TV networks and many local TV stations from all around the country also come to the Rip-off Report for information they will not get from the BBB, Attorney General office's or any other government agency.

Rip-off Report has instigated many local and national stories, resulting in help for victims' world wide, in one way or another. Most government agencies will never even bother with rip-offs unless it involves $50,000 or more.

Now that the government is cutting back even more dollars for these types of programs, this number will even get higher and we can expect even less to get done, by even less people to work on all these rip-offs.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Write to the Attorney General of California

AUTHOR: S. - ()

POSTED: Saturday, September 21, 2002

You've been ripped off buddy!

I suggest you request a refund from Zaken the write to the attorney general of california and New York.

If you do not get a refund soon I would suggetest writing to the attorney general of California. I have provided the address below.

I would also contacting your local media such as a television consumer advocate program or you local newspaper. Also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

I have sent Zaken several letters requesting a refund because they never sold anything I found. I encourage anyone and everyone who has been taken by this company to write a formal complaint against Zaken and send it to both the attorney generals of California where they are now and New York City and the federal trade commission. I received a response from Attorney Generals office that was encouranging that they will contact Zaken and they will keep my complaint on file to use as evidence against them if they have to take legal action. I'm sure if they receive more complaints from people they will make this a priority. I encourage all of you to write to:

Bill Lockyer

Attorney General

State of California

Department of Justice

P.O.Box 944255

Sacramento, CA 94244-2550

For New York

You can file a complaint on the attorney generals of New York website.

Also write a letter the editor or advertising manager of any magazine you see their ads being run in. If you get those post cards for business opportunities in the mail write a letter them warning them about this company.

Make sure to emphasize that now that they know about these crooks they have a responsibiltie to protect their own credibility and their readers from these crooks.

It will take number of different people to get a response. I encourge all of you to write to these sources. If you want to get your refunds you need to get California to take legal action.

Good Luck
