Details: White van with American Sound Systems on the side, 2 males, same model vans(liscense:YJY-3666) (Most have YJY-)
Scam: They will tell you that they had gotten extra orders already paid for, but really are just priceless equipment because the business (Theater Research) stopped making them. Also he told me I had a year warrenty, but really gave me 3 days to return it.
Receipt Scam: the receipt they gave me has a 3 day return policy. The guy marked down the date 3 days ago (1/17)from when he really gave me the slip (1/19)! So only had a couple of hours to return it, BEWARE!

Faxed it to him that same day (1/19), so even if they had the orginal (FALSE) date (1/17), I still had the receipt in on time.
Retaliate? well the guys in the van gave me a receipt (from American Sound Systems), but told me to send it to TR instead of American Sound, so they could get away with this deal. So I did the direct opposite, and drove to Philli. confronted the "main" guy at American Sound, where his office is a garage (seemed very shady). He told me he couldn't give the money back today, but come back tomorrow.
How to get your money back?
I told him I wasn't going to wait passed the 3 days for him to tell me it's too late to get my $300 dollars back. I made him sign the receipt saying he'll give me the money back (1/20).
The next day I went back first thing in the morning. He didn't answer for a while, until he realized that I wasn't leaving until i got my $300. Then miraculously, all the "workers" came out and he told me to sign the receipt and gave me back $300 dollars.
Benefits: Watching the guys that sold me the products stare at me while I walked away with my money! --- How the table has turned ---
