I have shopped at good will for many years and everthing has change for the worse. I totally agree with everyone regarding the online auction bidding and shipping rates. I also believe the part about employees bidding to  jack up prices. I really know this is true. why? because only people out of their mind would bid for jeans at 30-40 with $14.00 shipping.

these jeans are found for much less pre-owned. on ebay you can get them so much cheaper. If you look at the bidder initials it makes you think it is one of the employees do the bidding. i do know if goodwill does not get the price they want it will be restarted or possible put in the store for money.

I found this out when they took all the jewelry out of the stores and put them online.

They took out jewelry,name brand jeans, any name brand clothing and put them online to get more money for them.

Others who shop at goodwill just liked going in and getting a cute bracelet or necklace. This to me is outrageous. people donate these items to there community and expect to help the community with the donations. Can you image how wonderful it would be to have someone without a home to be able to buy something to wear that would not otherwise be something they could afford.. the smile..

i bid on a pair of jeans i really wanted that where taken out of the store. On a fixed income my husband was really upset on the shipping rate, he said could have got new jeans on clearence for that price. shipping $14.00.. wow. It came in a large box.. and it could have came in a 2.00 post office bag.

I want to end this on a positive note. I really think goodwill is doing some great things. Hiring those with disabilitys is wonderful! We all need jobs shouldn't be discriminated against for disability. Thank you for doing this. I do appreciate some of the prices... such as I needed blankets for my dog who had puppies and i got some wonderful blankets to keep them warm for three dollars and good quality. Sometimes I just need a pair of shoes but I cannot afford to buy them for full price I don't care about the brand.. just need comfortable shoes.

As far as shipping goes we should have the option to pick our shipping, we do not need priority shipping, and this should not be the fixed shipping on this site. If you want to stop these complaints let us chose our shipping. Much cheaper to get standard shipping at wait a few more days. Give us the option, it will be up to us.
