American Services Inc. Jump thru All the Hoops--Still don't Get Paid for Work Rendered! El Dorado Hills California

This company called us 07/14/07 for HVAC services needed at a local Sprint store. We did a condensate drain, leak repair for an amount of $150. 2 days later, Bobby Ray (which no longer is with them) from American Services, Inc. told us to go ahead and do a full tune-up for all 6 package units.

The bill now came out to be $1,230. They demanded a signature of completion by Sprint's store manage, which was done. Bobby Ray then promised us more work via email if we forwarded our company information. We did and weeks went by with no replies via email or phone calls.

We called and asked to speak with their controller or accounts payable and was given hoops to jump through for our payment. They wanted proof of insurance, tax id., a list of our "Normal Street Rates", and every little information that was irrelevant to our invoice.

Multiple calls to Karen Mickleburgh was made weeks later and no payments received. She was very rude when we did get her on the phone. We still have documentation until this day of faxes, emails, and letters of this non-paying company.

We are a small company and we take any opportunity to offer our best services. It's shameful that American Services, Inc. would rip off the little guys like us to benefit themselves. I'm sure their are dozens of unreported incidents from other companies that American Services, Inc. took for a ride as well.
