  To: Chastity Rooks Re: Complaint # 1305-21958/CLR Mrs. Rooks, I am responding back to the letter from Jay King. I emailed him May 1st with my concerns and asked about returning the kit. He did not reply back. I had decided to take anyway as figured I could get something from it as well as do more classes I contacted Mr. King right away on May 2nd as feel for what I paid he should offer a better quality course. I believe Mr. King was upset that I wanted to take the Axis course because he said it wasn’t as good, not as in-depth. I feel since I had just started the course and was honestly stating issues with course he could refund my money. Instead he tried to blame it on my pc/monitor or internet speed. He states he spent much time troubleshooting my monitor and function of course which is false as there is not an issue with my pc, monitor, or internet speed. In fact he told me I couldn’t view course in full screen? I have taken online courses or viewed videos without any issues. I explained the 1st lesson ok but had issues with second. In the DHCP lesson the volume is so low you can barely hear even with volume up on screen and external speakers. I believe there to be an issue with the taping of lessons from other classrooms then used as their own. I say this because they of quality of video as well as using different instructors. I was never told I would need a monitor as they use to setup DVR. The kit is supposed to be used with course but it does not follow along as well as issues with quality of video. They didn’t address use of the dome camera which was included in kit. Basically kit is waste of money. Mr. King claims he has taught 5000 without a complaint? They never tell you each lesson is locked out. How can it be a real certification as only based on 10 easy questions end each lesson? Mr. King also states that the 10ft Siamese cable is sent separate from them in Fl.? It doesn’t say that anywhere on website. It is part of kit. Why would it be sent separate when you have 14 days to complete? Since you are locked out after each lesson there is no way to go back. I spoke with him on May 2nd about how was I to practice crimping without the cable. Mr. King apologized as an oversight and would send it while offering an extension for the inconvenience. Mr. King said it was shipped May 4th but I never received it so contacted him on May 12. Mr. King stated at first that he sent delivery confirmation and to contact USPS. After several calls to USPS and emails to Mr. King asking for delivery confirmation number not transaction he stated he did not have the information as sent first class.” Irene, the cable was shipped without tracking standard USPS First Class. We will send you another cable tomorrow, as a courtesy”, was an email from him on May 13th. If he really is interested in customer satisfaction why not send delivery confirmation as wouldn’t cost much to assure he even sent it. Mr. King stated he sent three times but never sent in kit so only twice if sent last time. I did find another classroom course with Axis from my former boss. I had spoke with Mr. King several times prior to purchasing explaining my goals as preferred classroom setting but he assured it as good or better. I emailed him May 1st with my concerns. Mr. King did not reply back this time for some reason. I believe Mr. King was upset that I wanted to take the Axis course because he said it wasn’t as good, not as in-depth. I feel since I had just started the course and was honestly stating issues with course he could have refunded my money. I don’t believe they back their product as most companies will work with you.
