In November 2011 I hired Metro Barns, Shaune Flanigan and Thomas Flanagan (brothers) to build us a barn beginning December 1st 2011. our first draw payment was given, some materials were delivered, the frame was built (not correctly), the second draw payment was made and then nothing. In a nutshell version we were ripped off by thI now infamous Flanigan family of Texas. The only thing we did right was demand they take Credit Card payments. So they added a PayPal account to their then MetroBarns website and we paid by CC. Shaune eventually stated that he was sole owner and went bankrupt, they had a thousand excuses. this is a very nutshell version of our experience. Prior to beginning our project I checked with the state DA and they had non record of MetroBarns or any negative feedback in the prior two years and the BBB had only a couple statements in the past 5years at that time. So we proceeded with our barn and with MetroBarns. 

In the end we had to hire another company to complete the barn and rebuild most of the structure. We received our money back from American Express. 

I want everyone to know that Shaune Flanagan is a registered sex offender and I tell you this because he will not. So if you have children (boys especially it seems) you have a right to know Who is on your property and around your kids or you.

Thomas Flanigan was removed from softball coaching duties in North Texas due to being dishonest and not informing the team that his brother Shaune was reset offender and Shaune was assisting with the team.

The family has been involved in scamming all over Texas. There are many people trying to come together to being then to a stop. There is a DA, lawyer and more that are on this. I can give you all the information if you contact me. Hopefully if we can get everyone together we than stop them.
