I am Angela Abbatiello I have been a Realtor and Local Real Estate Broker for 15 years in the Stanly County area. I grew up in Stanfield NC and have live here for most of my life. I started my own real estate company Southern Carolina Realty Inc. 7 years ago with my then husband. I have not done business under this company name as of September 2, 2011 as I am getting a divorce 
I started another company Southern Carolina Property Inc. with a friend (at the time) whom I paid for and sent to real estate school I needed help with my business and as a friend I felt like this would be a good venture together. I was wrong, this company was active until January of 2012 my partner (friend I thought) went on to do business with another firm and I then was left to make another business choice That was to continue with what I know and do best and that is help people and sell real estate. I am Now Southern Carolina Investments. 

As to the allegations of business with Southern Carolina Realty posted on Rip Off Report in February 2012 I do wish to address to following;     

 A client of mine called me and told me about this rip off report months ago and I really didnt think that much about it at that time but as it turns out it appears to be something that has been coming up again and again as well as being talked about more than I realized. As for Mr. Thomas Lee Simpson, Many if these these allegations are just not true at all but, either way as a real estate broker I may not discriminate against anyone. I only have one job and that is to represent my client to my best ability. Someones past is not my concern nor is it something that I make any judgment on. I accept people for who they are and as far as everything else I leave that up to the Good Lord. I know no perfect people.

The only thing I can say and that I challenge  the person that posted is please look up my record and you will not find anything I have ever been charged with nor have I ever been convicted of any crime. I have never committed any crime. Nor do I have or ever had a criminal record. If you go through life looking for reasons to place judgment or to judge people and their past you will be a very busy person. Yes Mr. Simpson is a client of mine. Yes Mr. Simpson has a past. Yes to read the link and to read this post is disturbing. Is this a true statement made in this post NO.

 I didnt respond to this post in the beginning as I felt it was not in my character to feed into negative comments or to address untrue statements but I see that the internet can be a powerful way to discredit someone and someones life and business. A Life and business that I have worked very hard over the years to build myself a reputation of honesty and trust with everyone I work with and choose to associate myself with.  Business is Business and Life is Life. I treat everyone the same. I will not feel that the way I conduct myself in business is in anyway different than I would conduct myself in life. Until you prove otherwise to me I will treat you with respect and honor my relationship with you. If I am your Realtor of choice I will represent you to the best of my ability always. I would never bring disrespect, harm or unethical practice into any of my relationships or representation of any client.
 
I challenge you to please look into any of these untruths and find for yourself the answers. Do not always believe what you read and do not always judge people on what their past may be. We all are human and we have all made mistakes that we would like to be able to redo. Does this make us bad people? Does this mean we should always be under scrutiny and live in the shadows of our life lessons? I personally do not think so.
 
In closing, I think if you feel strong enough to make a statement of discredit on the Internet about someone or someones business you should stand behind this statement by displaying your name for clarity and for record. But again I can only speak for myself no one else.
