Thompson Security, LLC Alexander Thompson Security Company, Intimidates Residents/Guest, Contract Not Honored Seattle/Bellevue/Renton/Federal Way Washington

I am a resident at an apartment complex in Federal Way WA. Thompson Security is the company contracted by our management to provide "courtesy patrol." In all time that I have lived here, I have seen their vehicles and officers in our community one time, and that time, I have witnessed some things that concerned me about this service:

The only time I have ever seen our so-called "courtesy patrol" was when my wife was just getting home from work, after being on shift as a nurse at a local hospital for more than 16 hours. At 9:30 at night, she was sitting in her car, parked in front of our building, answering a call from her sister letting her know that her dad had just been diagnosed with cancer. She was on the phone for no more than 20 minutes before an unmarked white Chevy Impala drove up behind her car, blocking her in, and a male, wearing what looked some type of swat team equipment, jumped out, shining a very bright police type flashlight. into her window, and accusing her of "loitering." He also said that if she did not go inside immediately, he was going to call the police, and also report her to the manager. He then said that he knew the manager, and could "guarantee" that she would be given a 10-day notice. I became aware of this, after my wife was intimidated by this male, who kept referring to himself by "Officer" and his last name, into giving our apartment number. The male then shined that flashlight into our window, so I then came outside to see what was wrong. The male was also very overbearing with me, again referring to himself as "Officer" and only giving his last name He also stated to me that I needed to control my wife, to the point where, being a white male married to an African American woman, I was very offended, as I was not sure if he was trying to say she was some type of animal. But I was very concerned about this man's hyper-agressive approach. As he drove away, I happened to notice that there was a magnet attached to the driver side of the vehicle stating that it is Thompson Security.

Additionally, I have called the number for security to send an officer at least four times, to file noise complaints (two of them were parties that lasted until 3 am and 4 am, and police were finally called), and also when I saw what looked someone shining flashlights into cars, during the hours our leasing office told us to call security. Three of those times, I was told an officer would be sent "as soon as possible." And one time, during one of the parties, I called the number for security three times, and got no answer. When the number went to voicemail, the system said the mailbox was full.
