I purchased an RCA 31" TV 3-31-02. After setting up the TV, and the Guide plus system I got no channel information. I called the Phone no. in the setup book at there toll free number. The recording said that I should do the same thing that I had already done. If this did not work I was to call a non toll free number.
I have called 4 times and have gotten different advice each time. After getting nowere with te help people I called and asked to talk to a supervisor. Ha Ha He told me that I should have been told before that they could not solve my problem and that it had been refered to Gemstar. More than a week has gone by with still no contact from Gemstar.
I tried to go to their web site but have no help for Guide Plus. It said the I chould contact the provider,Thomson Consumer Electronics.
