I hired this company last minute, without doing enough research, because the company I initially hired had to cancel. It was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve hired movers 7 times and this was, by far, the WORST experience I’ve ever had with movers or ANY service of any kind. I’m not one to post online reviews, in fact, this is probably the first review I’ve ever written, but these guys are so bad I have to try to let people know. When they arrived they told me that they only take cash so I was immediately suspicious. Who only takes cash and doesn’t tell you until they get there? Companies that are used to having customer asking for refunds that’s who. They overcharged for basic packing materials that were supposed to be included as per my sales rep and the contract., they cracked my tv screen, ripped the upholstery in my sofa, chipped my end tables and even put a hole in the wall. I felt a moment of ease when I called and spoke to a seemingly friendly customer service rep there who said she would help escalate it to the manager to ensure I was helped. However, I quickly realized that was a sham after she stopped replying to my calls and emails. When I finally spoke to a “manager” named Shawn who was extremely unprofessional, rude and offered no assistance other than to file a claim with the same customer service department that wasn’t getting back to me. I went ahead and filed a claim anyway with plenty of photographs and quotes for the damages totalling well over 2k. After following up incessantly they finally offered $18, I think, just to be insulting. Of course I rejected that offer and I have still never heard back after countless additional calls and emails. Considering the cost of the move, the time, energy, hassle and frustration this has caused, I would have been better off hiring the most expensive company in the market, moving myself or simply throwing my stuff out and buying everything new! Whatever you do, please DO NOT use this company!
