I have paid Thrifty Propane for propane to be delivered, Almost two weeks ago from the day of this complaint. Then I realized on a wednesday night I was out, and and called them Thursday morning. I was going to do the emergency delivery, and eat the fee. They told me not to, as we were scheduled to have our propane delivered on Friday, and even with the emergency delivery, they still had 24 hours to deliver the feul.

So I decided not to have it delivered at a $200-$300 fee. Friday came and went, and no delivery. So I called them Friday night, and they said their driver decided he couldn't make it, and I would be one of the first to get my feul on Saturday morning.

Here it is at end of buisness day Saturday, and still no feul. No heat, No hot water, and all they can tell me is they tried calling their driver and tried texting him, with no response. They don't know when I will get my feul delivered.

I have asked to be connected to a supervisor, and they claim they don't know how to get ahold of anyone that I could talk to about my complaint. What kind of a buisness is this? Not one being ran correctly, that's for sure. They had no problem taking my money, but now are having big problems coming through with delivering my feul.

The final straw

Thrifty propane did eventually deliver my propane... numerous days after they promised they would. The funny thing is, when they delivered it, I had pre-paid/pre-ordered 251 gallons. The driver showed up at my house, and without my aknowledgement, or authorization, pumped 400 gallons of propane into my tank. When I questioned it, he told me to not worry about it. He said he was never told about my account until the day before he delivered. so all the false accusations by the "dispatcher/telephone answerer" about calling him and texting him and not getting a response back was a lie

After I informed the driver I did not order 400 gallons of propane, and that I only ordered 251 gallons, he told me don't worry about it, as he is sure i'll burn through it quickly with how cold it was. I told him Thrifty propane pissed me off enough I would not use them again. He jsut shrugged his shoulders and stated he understood.

Now, I find it funny, as the "owner" of this company posts a rebuttal, trying to intimidate me showing me some legal jumbo claiming he is sewing someone for defamation of character. Coincidentally, that same day and up to this point, Thrifty has been calling me numerous times a day, demanding payment on the other 149 gallons of propane.

There are a few problems with that though.... First off, you shouldn't call me and leave messages on my phone saying you have been trying to run my credit card, and that it has expired so you need a new one. I have saved the voicemails as proof. The first problem with this is I never authorized Thrifty to hold onto my credit card information (Federal law calls this Fradualant money). Secondly, you are attempting to run a credit card that is known to be expired, (Credit Card fraud). Third, I find it funny that only after the "owner" tries to intimidate me (which didn't work, simply because everything I have posted here is the truth) that they are now trying to claim I owe them for something from 15 months ago (which I considered a gift from their driver for them lying to me and being so late on their delivery, and he even told me to not worry about it).

This company has HORRENDOUS customer service, and treat people like crap. I for one will never use them again, I don't care how cheap their propane is, as it simply isn't worth the hassle to be treated that way.
