Hired Thurmond brothers Construction to do 10,000 of home repairs. in a time of severe grief and very poor judgement, I paid them 9,497.00 up front. this was 11/29/2012. Steve Thurmond & a helper was here 1 full day.They power washed deck. Now they have vanished into thin air. Now, they have no answering machine. (which they had when they were hired). No response to emails. Their company phone 573-468-3686 & other number on contract 573-627-3441 just continuously rings.
They have vanished into thin air. They did jack my deck up. It's been on that jack for almost two months now, tore lap siding off my house. This is all visible to everyone in my small community that I have been ripped off. ( So ashamed.) My guttering is laying all around my yard.
That is what I got for my money.
They did so much damage. I would had been better off had they just took the money and ran. Of course, I'd be better off had I not paid them up front.
I have hired a lawyer. but in the mean time, my house is being destroyed due to being exposed to weather elements. I haven't the money to hire anyone else. That is for attorney fees.
I just hope someone reads this before they hire them. I could write so much more. Please Beware. PLEASE, DO NOT HIRE Thurmond Brothers construction,Inc. They were in the paper under HOME IMPROVEMENTS. Franklin and Gasconade county are the two counties they run their ads in. (That I know of)
