I am a college student.

In October 2005, I went to ticketmaster.com to purchase tickets for Dave Matthews Band at the TD Bank NorthGarden (formerly Fleet Center) on Dec 15, 2005.

The date was October 8th and I woke up at 9:45 to buy the tickets that went on sale at 10 AM.

I signed in at 9:59 AM, clicked on the boston show, and bought four tickets which totalled $360 after all the fees.

-----------------

The day of the concert, I went to print out my tickets, which were sent by email the day after I bought them back in October. When I opened them up, I realized they sent me the wrong tickets - tickets to a show in Ontario, Canada.

Of course, I didn't purhcase tickets for that show, so I called them up to get the correct tickets sent.

-------------

So TicketMaster goes on to tell me that I made a mistake, even though I DID NOT MAKE A MISTAKE. I specifically remember choosing the show in BOSTON. Why would I ever buy tickets to a show in CANADA when I live in BOSTON?

TicketMaster would not grant any refund AT ALL and would not budge in saying their WEB SITE made an error.

Now I am stuck with a $360 loss, and the people I was going to the concert won't pay for any of this error either.

Totally unfair, TicketMaster sucks, and I'll probably never use them again.

-------------

The best part about it was the Ontario show went on sale October 4th... I bought my tickets October 8th.

Never have I heard of a DMB show that has GREAT seats 4 days after they go on sale. EVER.

Something is wrong here, but I can't find any information, such as when the Ontario show sold out, so I can back up the fact that ticketmaster.com made a mistake.

------------

My main lesson is to check the tickets way before the day of. But I wish ticketmaster.com would give me SOME kind of a break, like refund the $11/ ticket "convenience" charge.

If you ask me, THE CONSUMERS are providing convienence to ticketmaster by using the web site. They don't have to pay anyone to sell the tickets to us.
