Ticket master sells all the good seats to Brokers and leaves the real fans out in the cold. I recently went to the Theatre the morning tickets went on sale for a concert. I was around number 20 in line. When I got to the window the only seats left for the concert were balcony. I told the clerk she must think I am fool! There are 1500 floor seats and not 1 is available. The dumb clerk kept going on about how wonderful the balcony seats were and was I sure I wanted her to let them go?? I told her she could throw them out the window with her attached I'm not stupid!

I did a little research and found a broker on eBay aka ex-police officer, aka child molester had all the tickets. This guy is in cahoots with ticket master. Ticket Master should be arrested for their criminal activity. A full investigation should be launched on ticket master and they should be prosecuted. Screw Brokers! I can buy my own tickets I don't need you. If I can't buy my own d**n tickets I will sit at home and listen to my CD's, but you scam artist will never get a dime of my money! So how do you like that you punks!!!!!!!!

MAYBE SOME OF YOU HAVEN'T HAD A PROBLEM AND THAT'S GREAT. HOWEVER. I AM SPEAKING ON MY EXPERIENCE AND YOU CAN'T TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME! WHEATHER I PURCHASE THE TICKETS ONLINE WHEN THEY GO ON SALE , OR WHEATHER I PURCHASE ONLINE FROM THE PRE-SALE (AND PAY FOR A PASSWORD), OR WHEATHER I AM AT THE THEATHER FIRST IN-LINE WHEN THE DOORS OPEN, THE BEST TICKETS ARE ALWAYS GONE TO THE d**n BROKERS.

BOTTOMLINE IS TICKET MASTER AND BROKERS ARE IN BED TOGETHER! TICKET MASTER IS GETTING PAID TWICE, SOMETIMES 3 TIMES ON ONE TICKET. OH! LET ME NOT FORGET SOMETIMES YOU CAN GET THE BEST SEATS THE DAY BEFORE OR DAY OF THE SHOW BECAUSE THE THEIVING BROKERS COULDN'T FIND A SUCKER! HOWEVER YOU RUN THE CHANCE OF NOT GETTING ANYTHING. YES A FULL INVESTESTIGATION NEEDS TO BE LAUNCED ON THESE THEIVES!!

AN INVESTIGATION WILL BE LAUNCHED MAYBE NOT TODAY BUT IT WILL BE. SO TAKE NOTES BROKERS- YOU SHOULD SAVE ALL OF YOUR MONEY, TO MAKE BAIL. THE FACTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES!!! TICKET MASTER IS IN BED WITH BROKERS!!! I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA, THE SAN FRANCISCO, BAY AREA. WHEN VENUES COME HERE EVERYONE HAS THEIR HAND OUT FOR OUR INVISIBLE CASH COW!!

PS: I AM HERE FOR ONE THING AND THAT'S TO VOICE MY OPINON ABOUT THE SUBJECT.

Andi you seem upset

Angela was correct. You can buy tickets online, but you have to remember, so are a lot of other people. You live in Oakland, and, in the surrounding metro area there are 10 million people. If the concert you want to go to is in high demand, then you'll be competing with thousands of people who are online the moment tickets go on sale. Ticketmaster is not selling solely to a "ex-police officer/child molester" (and how do you know this?). Ticketmaster makes the same amount whether they sell 1 ticket or 1000 tickets.

So here's how it works. Tickets go on sale at 8 am. There are probably 10,000 people on the ticketmaster website for that specific event at 7:50 am, refreshing the page every second so they can get the best seats possible. Once 8 am rolls around, all 10,000 people make their selections and confirm their tickets by the time the first guy in line even says hello. So, after 5 minutes, all prime seating locations are taken. I know this is how it works, because that's what I do.

Boy, That's The Truth

AUTHOR: Cory - (U.S.A.)

It's illegal and you can be arrested, as many have, if you, as an individual, try and sell tickets within a given distance from any event for more then "face value". I know one scumbag here in town who is just about the biggest ticket "scalper" around. He pays kids by the hour, to go down and wait in line, sometimes 10 or 15 hours before tickets go on sale. He then puts them on sale, on his website at many times face value. Of course he gives tickets to most of the local politicians. They're the ones who've passed the laws concerning ticket scalping.

He had dozens of kids out during the spurs games. When they made the playoffs and championships, he made tens of thousands of dollars, probably hundreds of thousands. I heard one $750 ticket went for $5000. Now I don't have a problem with free enterprise. What I do have a problem with is when the laws are stacked aganist the small person and you have what amounts to insider trading, where favored individuals are allowed to practice what is considered illegal to most, sanctioned for a few.

I can't go buy a couple of tickets and sell them for a profit yet another individual is allowed to pay many individuals to buy many tickets and he can put them on a website and sell them at out rageous prices. As a note, I don't buy tickets nor go to concerts. Kind of like playing the lottery, why should I support a crooked, ripoff system.

I buy my tickets on line all the time, and always get great seats. Didn't get lucky just once.

You are so quick and defensive, when I was nothing but nice to you.

Haven't had a problem

AUTHOR: Christine - (U.S.A.)

The last two times I bought tickets through ticketmaster online, I got front row center and third row center. Of course, it was through an internet pre-sale that I signed up with through that particular venue. That's why when the tickets go on sale to the general public, the good ones are snatched up. Try signing up through various venues to get the advanced notice of upcoming events.

Angelina, FYI

AUTHOR: L. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 23, 2006

I forgot to mention my sister was online when the tickets went on sale and the only seats available were balcony. So... Angelina don't tell me how, when and where to purchase tickets. As if you only get the best seats online. So you got lucky one time. Try again with a "A" list venue. I don't think it will happen. Geez!!! The bottomline is TICKETMASTER AND THOSE d**n BROKERS ARE RIPOFFS AND SCAMMERS!

Richard is so correct

AUTHOR: Angelina - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, October 21, 2006

Same thing happened to us. We thought also thought we were going to be able to get good seats for a concert, and we were beat out by the people who did it on line.

NO scam here. Nobody is going to launch an investigation on something that happens all the time. Next time, buy your tickets on line. That's we do now, and are always pleased.

Do you realize...

AUTHOR: Richard - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, October 20, 2006

...they're also selling tickets online at the same time? Depending on the demand for tickets, you could be second in line and the theater would be sold out when you got to the window.
