Purchased 4 Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" SATA III SSD at $119.99 each. Date of purchase was 12/22/2014.

1 drive was purchased on receipt #1.
3 drives were purchased on receipt #2.

Each unit has a $20 mail in rebate. However you can only have 2 rebates per household.

I filed all the paperwork on time and mailed 3 separate rebates to:

Rebate Processing
Offer #: TD-18644
P.O. Box 130018
El Paso, TX 88513-0018

On 1/22/2015 they sent me confirmation emails that:

Rebate Number: 5718203456202012 was approved for $20
Rebate Number: 1769191010154843 was approved for $20
Rebate Number: 7623205655151819 was declined for $40 - Unable to approve claim due to multiple submissions. – The maximum item limit has been reached for the household.

Even though the first 2 approved rebates were being sent to:
ADDRESS #1

And the declined rebate was filed under a different address and name:
ADDRESS #2

I called 2 times on 1/23/2015 and was told that in order for the declined $40 rebate to be honored that it would have to be resubmitted on it's own separate receipt which would not be possible.

The instructions stated clearly 2 rebates per household, not 2 rebates per receipt. If it said that then I would have made separate purchases and I would not feel ripped off and/or filing this complaint.

 Resolution:

Send me the rebates that I am entitled to. $80 in total rebates. I will not stop filing bad business claims and escalate this as much as possible until this has be resolved in a satisfactory manner.

Clear things up a little

Ok so you review a flyer from TigerDirect and you find an item you want. The ad says $99.00 after $20 mail in rebate. That is all the ad says. Does not have any limits. (See the attached image flyer.jpg) The fine print does not show any limits per household. So you go to the store and purchase 4 of the items expecting 4 x $20 in mail in rebates. The price tag at the store does not say anything about limits per household. I am still thinking 4 x $20 in mail in rebates. I make the purchase and look at the receipt. Nothing about rebates what-so-ever. So still thinking... 4 x $20 in mail in rebates.

I get home and go on to tigerdirect.com/rebates. I locate the rebate offer, see the attached image rebate_offer.jpg. I am still thinking 4 x $20 in mail in rebates. I click on the link to "view rebate form"(see attached rebate_form.jpg). After reviewing the rebate form I see nothing here that limits the amounts that I purchased. Even the fine print says nothing about only 2 per household. Again, still thinking 4 x $20 in mail in rebates. So following the Rebate Terms, Conditions, and instructions I am not brought to https://www.4myrebate.com/?oc=TD-18644 to request a form to mail in. In this form there is one line item that says Offer Maximum: 2 Claim(s) per household. This is very far from the time that I made my purchase, and the chance I would go back and return these non-returnable items is nil. The bar codes have already been removed. Now I would be surprised if nobody else feels "ripped off" hense the reason why I am filing this report.

If anybody has an issue with this, then close your browser and get a life (Tyg). Otherwise post something usefull or your own experience.

So defensive...

Well it appears that the truth hurts. So passionate and very defensive from this last poster. Big words you are using must make you proud. As a matter of fact you are probably a loyal Tiger direct employee. Seems very likely from your last post.

Just to make it clear the ad did not state 2 power household, and neither did the receipt. Nothing I said indicated defamation, learn what the words mean.

So TYG or whatever your name is thanks for showing how ignorant and stubborn you are before knowing all the facts.

So what YOU are saying is that YOU will keep posting FALSE reviews BECAUSE they wont give you your way?? NOT very adult of you. YOU have gotten the MAX allowed by their rebate system. One would think that if YOU were adult enough to use a computer YOU would be adult enough to USE 2 DIFFERENT ADDRESSES!!!!! SInce there is a built in limitation on rebates. Its NORMALLY only 2 per household. So instead of doing the ADULT thing after KNOWING that they ONLY allow 2 per household, YOU go on the web and act like a 13 year old girl?? YEa, YOU are the problem and NOT the rebate center. YOU are a SCAMMER!!!! and YOU are attempting to SCAM. THEN YOU ADMIT IT ONLINE!!!!!! REALLY!!!! YOU can buy a SSD drive but don't realize THAT EVERYTHING YOU DO IS LOGGED?!?!?! With a simple court order THEY can prove YOU wrote this post ADMITTING to actively trying to scam. Give it up!!! YOU got EXACTLY what YOU were supposed to. TWO REBATES PER HOUSEHOLD!!!

How is this hard to grasp or understand?? Admit that YOU screwed up even after KNOWING that they only allow 2 per household and move on!!!! THEY are NOT going to give YOU your way!!! Why?? BECAUSE YOU ALREADY GOT ALL YOU CAN GET!!!! As well as being an ACTIVE SCAMMER, YOU admit to using the web in order to blackmail THEM into giving YOU your way!!!! YUP!!! DEFINATLY not the brightest bulb on the tree. One wonders how quickly YOU would drop this if THEY went after YOU for what YOU are doing. Each of the CRIMES you have admitted to carry some form of punishment. I wont even go into the costs of DEFAMATION!!! That alone can cost you more then you can make in a lifetime. But HEY!!!! YOU are supposedly an adult!!! I think im going to see if they can be contacted on FB or social media. THEY desereve a chance to rebut YOUR claims and THEY should have the opportunity to choose if THEY wish a legal action. .
