The title of this report is terrible, as makes it appear Tim Worley was the crook, when in fact he was simply one of the victims.

The complainant in this case is well aware the real criminal is a man going by the name of Richard Bent, who has been pulling the same scam now for years.

The complainant has already published on another website, that he knows Tim Worley had nothing to do with this scam other than being duped into building a website for the scammer, the details are listed here.

If you were the investigative reporter you say you are, you'd have been able to follow a simple paper trail of registration of the company and ownership to see this.  But you are not an investigative reporter. Investigative reporters don't just speculate, and then make unsubstantiated accusations.  They acutally investigate them first.  You are not an investigative reporter, you are just a nutcase.

(2) How we got your details?

Your number is in the phone book. We looked it up.  How's that for some high end investigation methods for you, Mr investigative reporter?  I guess its just too crazy a method for you to have considered is it. 

Your number was posted, so if any others wanted you as their champion they could call you. Got many calls?

The purpose of our phone calls, were to gauge your mental state, which from your posts I think its obvious to all, you are...to put it gently..... unwell. 

As for discouraging people from calling the state and Federal Police in Australia? Its ludicrous.  Tim has called both, and been interviewed by both.  I was in the office when the Byron Bay Officers came and did an interview with him.  You could call the Byron Bay Police Station, and ask to speak to the investigating constable.  I guess though its not possible for you to do this is it.... because you aren't quite clear on how phone books work, and can;t look up the number to call them?

And yes, the Federal Police have been in touch too.  And no, Tim is not a suspect.  Oh... I'm not either by the way.

We took the trouble to phone the complainant to find out why the continued, slanderous attack.

It was pointed out as Tim had:-

He then tried to tell us he could not speak about the matter as everythin was with his lawyer - however upoin asking for his lawyers name.... apparently that was secret too.

Richard Bent contracted us to build a website and market it using google adwords for him. To date we are owed in the region of $10k usd in outstanding development fees and adwords expenses. No one wants this man caught more than me. Believe me on that. $10k usd is a lot of money to me.

Basanata is an outsourced html coder that I use to cut templates for websites. AMJ was in fact the first site we worked together on. To say that he is Richard Bent, because he is Indian, is outrageous. In case you didn't know, there are about 1 billion people on the subcontinent, and many of whom work in IT.

He has nothing to do with the situation at hand so please don't annoy him. He has no idea what you are talking about, and can not help you in any way.

I registered the domain on behalf of our client the infamous Richard Bent. As a web developer, this kind of thing often happens. Not all clients know how to register domains, and so this, together with running adwords is a service that we provide for our clients.

Yes, the registrar names were changed as the gentleman from autobrokersltd (above post) threatened myself and my family. Of course, I went straight to the police, and all details of that correspondence is with them.

Threats of any nature are immediately dealt with in this manner. I am a professional, and consider myself of the highest professional integrity. I understand people are angry, so am I, but it seems that the Japanese Police didn't want to have anything to do with the case, and palmed me off to our local federal police. Seems like it was in the too hard basket for them.

I have a trail of emails that will prove we had nothing to do with the money disappearing - the fact that people sent money to a Japanese bank account should tell you that. Surely this is where you should be looking for more answers. Call the bank in question and talk to them. Call the Japanese phone company and track down records of the numbers he used. To blame us is ridiculous. We are a bigger victim than most in this case.

I have even placed a warning and contact details of the Japanese police, and even how to ask for a police person who speaks english on the home page of the website.

I have left the site up with that message on there to try and help people to follow this through and hunt down this Richard Bent charlatan. Why would I do this if I was involved? What more can I do?

Personally, I have let go of it all and got on with my life. I no longer wanted to bang my head against a brick wall and lose sleep over something I could not control. I refuse to spend any more time or energy on something that I just don;t see as being resolved. But that's just me.

The proprietor of Weblife Tim Worley has contacted the Australian and Japanese Police, as well as interpol.

None of them, want to know because its just too hard. Victims outside Japan - Japanese Police say go to your local Police. Transaction happen in Japan, Austgralian Police so go to Japanese Police. Not even a reply to correspondence from Interpol.

The complainant, is vexaious and taking out a personal vendetta against ANOTHER VICTIM. The Police do NOT see weblife or Tim Worley as a suspect, and they have his name, address etc. The Australian Police have taken a statement from Tim and been provided with anything they have asked for.

The complaint has no founding and is slanderous, and printing Tim's home number and home address is outrageous!

I am happy to be contacted by phone or email to provide a full accounting, but if this stays up, expect legal action to follow.
