Timber Lodge RV American Campground Sales Fraudulently represented campground memberships Eagan Minnesota

ON March 13, 2014 Jim Gerde sold me annual campground memberships in RPI, AOR, and Coast to Coast. He told me in order to use the memberships I needed a home resort. He recommended Timber Lodge RV resort since they just required an annual dues of $99.

This year 2015 since we are not able to travel in our RV we did not renew the memberships. All the memberships were very accomodating to not renew their annual membership except Timber Lodge. When I tried to cancel the membership they continued billing me then turned it over to collection thus ruining near perfect credit. Contrary to their membership documents to any term period defined or any ongoing obligation, Timber Lodge and Monterey Collections (their enforcer) insist that the membership is for life and whether I plan to use it or not I must pay annual dues for my lifetime or they will continue to ruin my credit. 

This is a outright con game using fraud, deceit, and extortion to collect ongoing dues ilegally. This scam has apparently been going on unheeded since 2009. It's time to stop them. I am looking to put these people out of business and would appreciate any help contacting congressmen, AARP, AG's, FBI, FTC, the BBB or anyone else I can get to listen. I would bet there are hundreds of victims of this scam - and mostly seniors like me. If you want to help put thugs away contact the National Association of Members. NAM are soliciting victims for a class action suit.
