What a scam and horrible company to deal with putting me in collections for cable box and modem that they took away when we upgraded our services, Where do I begin ?  Very simple here we upgraded our services to add an extra tv in our bedroom and they sent techs one of their subcontractors in to do the job, We have a new cable box and modem and tv in the bedroom now see photos attached. I have recorded calls with their horrible supervisors verfying yes you have new equipment we can see on our system and also verfied that it is common practice for the tech to come in install new equipment and take back the old equipment

But,,,,,,now I am in collections for the equipment that they say was never returned. OMFG Really !  They are theives and trying to get me to pay $352 for equipment their flunkies took back from us the date of the service calls. I have tried to get resolution but they say sorry we never got the equipment back, They did not offer my wife a receipt we just signed electronically on their tablet.

So they refuse to do anything about it or even give me the name of the subcontrator who took the equipment back. They are criminals aand cannot get away with this, Beware of Time Warner and their criminal business practices I advise go with ATT or Dish . Avoid this company like EBOLA.

 

I have contacted my local media trouble shooter and will be filing a case against them in court, So furious and of course I am cancelling them like a bad habit

I do not know you peed in your coffee when you wrote this but relax, I was the victim so no need to go off on me and although you have a few good points you are also not accurate on some.

 

1, You can fight the big boys if you know what you are doing and make it uncomfortable for them so they give in,

2. File rip off report . File Complaints with PUC public utilities commision, File with BBB and File with UCAN consumer advocate. File police report etc

3. In your rebuttal you say they win and I have no choice to play by their rules. Sorry Tyg i am not playing by their rules and no they did not win. I fought them and should have my complete victory shortly

4, Also FYI nobody wins. If they got me to pay which they did not and if I cancel they lose 1100 in revenue per year from me. I have been a customer 10 years thats 11.000 in revenue and if I stay as a customer for 10 more years thats another 11,000 potential loss if I cancel

 

5. So to your point which was the best one. I did not cancel at this time and it looks like they are going to back down, Once I have that in writing from them I will call off the dogs and agencies

 If you like paying ETFs and EXTRA equipment fees go ahead and cancel!! I mean why not cut off your own nose to spite your face. There is a right way to do things and a wrong way to do things. The RIGHT way would be to stick with their service until this issue is resolved. By cancelling your service YOU are admitting guilt, at least in THEIR eyes. To THEM, YOU are being reactionary and irresponsible. YOU have NO PROOF one way or the other that YOUR claim is true. THEY however have all the proof THEY need. YOU had the equipment and now have NEW equipment yet THEY haven't received said old equipment. Game, set ,match. THEY WIN!! If you wish to get this resolved, YOU need to escalate the situation WITHIN the boundries given to you. YOU need to speak with a customer resolution/retention manager. Then YOU need to provide the dates of your upgraded equipment. With THAT information, THEY should be able to narrow in on WHO did the work. DONT BE A FOOL!!!! Fools continue to pay for their own stupidity!! BE SMART and get this resolved here and now. Don't cancel because THEY WIN when you do. Lastly, sorry but it IS their ball, their game, their rules. If you want to play with them, and by play with them I mean use their service, you MUST play THEIR WAY!!! YOU as a consumer have ZERO power over ANYTHING they do. YOU would be misinformed and considered a fool to think that YOU as a single individual consumer are going to have any impact what so ever in any way shape or form in any known or unknown universe over THEM and THEIR business. The adage of the customer is always right HAS NOT been true for a VERY long time. Once there was over 5k customers PER business, that adage fell by the way side. I tell you all of this to inform YOU of the battle YOU have ahead of you. You can tell 1000 people or a million. The American Citizen will do as THEY SEE FIT despite any and all warnings.
