This company asks artists or designers to completely redesign a web site before an interview. Do they design games for free? Maybe so.

Most designers have great portfolios so why not look at that and determine. This is a scam of time and disregard for professionalism.

TIMEgate Studios asks designers to create website before an interview. This type of pre-employment screening should be further scrutinized. It may in fact be worthy of reporting to the employment board. In essence they are asking design professionals to perform work for no pay. How long do they think it takes to redesign an entire website with HTML, CSS, Flash ,logins, etc. In addition to this the candidate might try their best to impress and spend multiple hours of work for no real benefit.

Would you ask a plumber, doctor, or whoever else to do this. Why is the design profession any different? Again Timegate Studios (Time Gate Studios) doesnt design games for free. They sell them for a profit. This practice is unethical.
