This review is for Timeless Reflections (memoriesbydanyelle@gmail.com), owned/operated by Danyelle G, out of Cibolo, TX.  

I had my second son in May 2013. Prior to the birth of my son, I was referred to Timeless Reflections by a friend who knew that Danyelle was looking to expand her photography business. I had initiated contact with Danyelle via Facebook message, to find out more information regarding her services and prices. She was initially very responsive, and replied very quickly to all my questions. She confirmed that a contract and release would be provided with my package purchase.  

Two weeks after my son was born, we scheduled a newborn/family session, to occur June 8th. She arrived early, setup, and was extremely patient with all of us (as anyone with a toddler and a newborn knows, trying to sit still for photos can be hectic.) With the exception of the baby having an "accident" on one of her blankets, the session went rather well...or at least I thought so. I felt badly about the baby's accident, apologized profusely, and offered to clean the blanket for her. She reassured me that everything was fine, and that it was part of photographing newborns. Danyelle finished up the session, and left. The following the events pertinent to my complaint.  

June 17 - She sent me some sneak peeks of a couple of photos she had already edited, and that were posted onto the Timeless Reflections Facebook page. The photos looked really nice. We looked forward to receiving the notification that our gallery was ready to view. However, this is about the last positive experience we had with TR and Danyelle.

June 25 - I asked about the status of our image gallery, as well as for a copy of a contract to sign.  

June 27 - I received the contract. I signed and returned the contract. I again asked about our gallery and photos. Danyelle replied that she had been busy, and would have it ready for weekend viewing (which Saturday would have been the 29th of that week).  

July 3 - Received an email notifying me that the image gallery was ready for viewing. Also mentioned in the email were three images that were not yet included in the gallery, but still being edited. These three images were to follow. (I never saw those images.)

July 29 - I emailed Danyelle asking about the status of the images, as well as notifying her of a few questions/concerns I had regarding the images posted onto the viewing gallery.

Aug 1 – I received a response from Danyelle that she would address my concerns over the weekend (Saturday would have been the 3rd of that week).

 Aug 8 – I followed up with an email to find out status. No response.   Aug 14 – Again, I emailed for a status. No response.

Sep 19 – Again, I emailed for a status. No response.   Oct 7 – I figured that I probably wouldn’t receive a response, but wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. Here again, is an excerpt of my email that I sent.

Again, these were my initial questions/issues:

1. The football photo shot. As downloaded from the site, almost all of the photos had an appropriate resolution for prints. However, the color football photo, was sized smaller than almost all the others, at 251 KB (960x764). This was a low resolution for the size of canvas I was planning on ordering (20x24). It was actually too small of a resolution for a 16x20 as well. I'm not sure why this image was so much smaller than the others, but it was. The B&W version is fine, but the color image was too small. Can you please send me a larger image, at an appropriate resolution, to make a large canvas?

 2. The color family shot, where all four of us are in the photo, seems to have some sort of brownish filter applied that stops short on the bottom. Is there any way you can re-edit so that the filter is applied to the entire image rather than just stopping short? As-is it just seems like a weird line.

3. The photo of J kissing M seems strange to the eye. It's as if M's head was cropped from another shot onto this one. And the reason it looks like that is because it looks like M has two ears on his right side. Was this the case?  If so, could you re-edit to re-size M so that it doesn't look like he has two ears?

4. Lastly, in an early email, you mentioned having a few more photos that still needed editing that weren't uploaded to the viewing site. Can you please share those?

Again, I realize you are busy. I realize you have many other sessions besides ours. I just feel like ours was never completed, and it has been some time. Last email I received from you mentioned using a new viewing site, and that was in August. I have not heard from you since. As a customer, I don't like being ignored or discounted.   I hope to hear from you soon.

Many requests, and four months from the actual photo session, I was still chasing a vendor about a product that should have been delivered in-full, SATISFACTORILY, months before. I paid for a service and product, and haven’t fully or completely received either…and we are now in December.

I write this review to inform and alert any potential customers, that while the images may be beautiful, actually getting them has been anything but a pleasant experience. I STILL do not have answers, edited images, OR a release to print.  I have emailed and texted repeatedly, and have not received ANY response - positive or negative. I fully paid for a service that was not 100% completed.  

If I ever do receive a response, I will be sure to be fair, and update this review appropriately.
