What can I say, wish I looked at RO before. Exactly same issues as previous customer. Paid $165. Certainly not professional, spent hours trying to fit a back window. Was to come by next day, scheduled time to be home. Messaged that he could not make it as supplier was closed. OK, I accepted that. When the car was partially finished, I had to point out the obvious issues in what is a less then bright garage area that he did not indicate presented any issues.
My gut, after 3 hours and him having to go online to see how it is done for this car, I should have listened to, and paid for what was done and said goodbye.
When he did return and finish the car, I could see some bubbles, however typically these go away after the tint cures. Had many cars tinted.
The drive to work that day revealed terrible tint. Front windows are completely scratched, the tint in some areas was crimped. My drivers door panel towards the speaker at the dash was tweaked. Back window (the one he needed to learn how to do) is peeling.

I sent pictures to him, no response to obvious issues, other then to schedule an appointment.

I then cleaned the back hatch and this revealed outside scratched not only in the glass but a number of perfect knife cuts in the paint. Are you serious?? Again a car with 200 miles on it, picked up 2 days before.. So not only was each window done terribly, but, damage to my car.  The same day of final completion I messaged, No response, waited 2 days 1 more message, I then said, are you going to resolve this? I then received a will make an appointment, still nothing.

I work at a local attorney office and have decided that calling is not getting me anywhere. I am getting damage estimates and will determine next steps to resolve this. I literally handed someone $165 to damage my brand new car, forget the crappy tint job. Not acceptable...

I realize 100% guarantee means nothing in this case. However, I dont get ripped off and will pursue to resolve. I will never let him touch it again or try to finx and only cause more damages. I expect the $165 back plus whatever VW determines are the cost to repair damages.

Its a shame people advertise something there are not. Lessons learned. Will post pics shortly
